Talon F.

Talon is from Eagle, Nebraska, and found his passion for medicine during a wilderness EMT course before college. At Harvard University, he served as a course assistant and later as Head Course Assistant for two of the university's largest chemistry courses, Introduction to Biochemistry and General Chemistry II, earning the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. He also worked as a research assistant in an evolutionary neuroscience lab and graduated in the top 5% of his class, earning him the John Harvard Scholar award.

Talon's own MCAT experience shaped the tutor he is today. After experimenting with multiple study approaches, he discovered that targeted coaching in study strategies and test-taking skills made the greatest difference in his preparation. That insight drives his tutoring philosophy: rather than relying on content review alone, he helps students build the analytical and strategic habits that translate into score gains. 

With a rich history in public speaking, Talon has no trouble getting students excited to talk or asking them questions. Having worked as a general chemistry and biochemistry tutor for three years while also having concentrated in biology, he is confident he can tie all the concepts the MCAT has to the real world.
