At the University of Texas at Austin, Stephanie served as a teaching assistant for an honors biochemistry class and also tutored peers in pre-med courses. She continued to tutor students in the MCAT throughout her gap year with a private tutoring firm, helping traditional and non-traditional applicants increase their scores by 20+ points. She also served as a medical assistant in allergy, ENT, and urogynecology settings for three years to gain foundational clinical experience for medical school.
At Baylor College of Medicine, Stephanie was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Baylor College of Medicine Presidential Scholarship. She has authored more than 10 peer-reviewed publications, co-founded a student-run free clinic in Houston, and served on the Baylor Curriculum Renewal Working Group
Stephanie approaches every session with a flexible mindset, believing the study plan should always evolve around the student's needs. She is experienced in MCAT content review and test-taking strategy. Stephanie makes a point to check in on mindset and confidence alongside the material, and her energetic personality keeps students optimistic throughout the studying process.
