Riya's academic career has been shaped by a deep commitment to research and public health. As an Associate Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics, she collaborated with faculty at the Perelman School of Medicine through the Summer Undergraduate Mentored Research (SUMR) Program, co-authoring a published scoping review in A&A Practice examining the challenges of motherhood for anesthesiologists. She has also conducted orthodontic research focused on mesenchymal cells in the mid-palatal suture, further sharpening her analytical thinking and ability to break down complex scientific material.
Riya's approach to DAT preparation centers on understanding over memorization. She simplifies complex concepts into clear, manageable frameworks while emphasizing high-yield content, pattern recognition, and efficient test-taking strategies.
