Throughout residency, she has mentored medical students, led educational sessions, and developed curricula to help trainees succeed clinically and academically. She has also authored numerous educational resources for medical students, residents, and patients, including residency interview guides, women's health workbooks, and evidence-based patient education materials.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Martin founded Elevate Women's Health, an educational initiative dedicated to empowering women through free community webinars and evidence-based resources on fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and women's wellness. She believes that education is an extension of patient care and is passionate about helping individuals make informed decisions throughout their healthcare journey.
Having recently navigated both the residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship application processes herself, Dr. Martin understands the challenges applicants face in today's increasingly competitive admissions environment. She provides thoughtful, individualized guidance on personal statements, activity descriptions, interview preparation, application strategy, and career planning. Her mentoring style is supportive, structured, and goal-oriented, with a focus on helping each applicant present the strongest and most authentic version of themselves.
