Dr. Thomas Troia, Med School Admissions Consultant at Inspira Advantage

Dr. Troia is a physician with over eight years of experience guiding pre-medical and medical students. He graduated with an MD and a concurrent certificate in health policy and management from the Neeley School of Business and the Anne Burnett School of Medicine at Texas Christian University. Students he has coached have been accepted to medical schools at UC Davis, UT Southwestern, Texas Christian University, the University of Nebraska, the University of Colorado, and others.

Before attending the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU, Dr. Troia earned a BS in biology from Texas Christian University, graduating cum laude. He then completed an MS in immunology, pathology, and infectious disease at the University of Nebraska Medical Center on a full scholarship. In medical school, Dr. Troia distinguished himself through leadership in clinical education and research. He served as a peer tutor at the Burnett School of Medicine, helping fellow students master complex clinical concepts, and joined EZMedicine as a senior tutor to expand his reach to learners beyond his home institution. He was also awarded the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and the PREPPED Plastic Surgery Scholarship for his commitment to medicine and service.

Dr. Troia completed a competitive research fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he co-authored a book chapter on advanced surgical techniques and published over a dozen peer-reviewed papers in high-impact medical journals. His research has been published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, PRS Global Open, JAAOS Global Research and Reviews, Gland Surgery, Cureus, and Cancers.
