After college, Dr. Singer worked as a journalist, a schoolteacher, and a prison administrator. He lived overseas before returning to the United States to pursue postbaccalaureate pre-medical studies. His unconventional path to medicine—and his success in gaining admission to his first-choice medical school—gives him a deep understanding of the challenges and strengths that non-traditional applicants bring to the admissions process. He has worked as an OB/GYN at multiple medical centers, including the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, Kaiser Permanente, Marshall Medical Center, The Women’s Center at St. Rose Hospital, and others.
Dr. Singer brings a uniquely broad perspective to the medical school admissions process and 20 years of mentorship experience guiding aspiring physicians. He looks forward to sharing his experience with applicants and helping them accomplish their ambitions.
