Dillon Paul, Private MCAT Tutor at Inspira Advantage

Before getting accepted at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dillon graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor’s in biophysics and Spanish. Students Dillon has tutored have increased their scores by an average of 15 points, have scored as high as 523 on the exam, and have gone on to attend medical schools at Johns Hopkins, Brown University, Dartmouth College, the University of Virginia, Georgetown University, and others.

Dillon has over six years of tutoring experience. In addition to private MCAT tutoring, he served as Head Tutor for the Johns Hopkins Department of Physics and Astronomy and as a teaching assistant for introductory physics courses. Beyond individual tutoring, Dillon founded an MCAT mentorship program dedicated to supporting aspiring physicians from underserved backgrounds, helping hundreds of students navigate the MCAT and medical school application process.

Although Dillon was accepted to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he has decided to defer his matriculation in order to pursue resuscitation science research at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine. He currently works as an EMT and CPR instructor with Elite Ambulance.

Dillon believes every student can succeed with the right strategies, consistent effort, and personalized guidance. He works closely with each student to identify strengths, address weaknesses, and develop a study plan that works for them. Dillon’s experience in teaching challenging STEM concepts allows him to break down complex material into clear, intuitive lessons while fostering confidence and long-term understanding. As a first-generation college student and the first in his family to pursue medicine, Dillon understands many of the challenges pre-meds face. These experiences continue to shape his commitment to mentorship and expanding access to medical education.
