Before attending the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Hueniken graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with a BS in biochemistry and nutrition and a BA in history. During his undergraduate years, he served as a resident assistant with the University of Miami Housing and Residential Life, developing early leadership and mentorship skills that would carry over into his medical career. He was recognized with the Jennifer Wollman Prize for Outstanding Achievement in History, the Foote Fellow distinction through the University of Miami's Honors College, a Presidential Scholarship, and other merit-based awards.

Dr. Hueniken is completing a transitional year at Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, before pursuing an anesthesiology residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His research spans clinical anesthesiology and translational pain research, including studies on genetically engineered neuronal cells for the management of chronic pain. He has published peer-reviewed work in Cureus and has presented at national conferences, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting.

Throughout his training, Dr. Hueniken has demonstrated a deep commitment to mentorship, education, and leadership. As an admissions committee member at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, he played an active role in reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and shaping the next generation of medical students, giving him an invaluable insider perspective into what makes an applicant stand out. Before attending Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Battaglia earned a Bachelor’s in biological sciences from Drexel University. During medical school, Dr. Battaglia served as a Student Champion, guiding prospective students through the admissions experience and sharing insight into life as an osteopathic medical student. After residency, he continued to build on that interest in teaching as a part-time faculty member at Centra Health’s Lynchburg Family Residency Program for two years.

As a counselor, Dr. Battaglia supports students applying to MD and DO programs as well as residency applicants. He brings a practical, physician-level perspective to application strategy, interview preparation, and overall candidacy development. His background in medical education and graduate medical training enables him to guide students through each stage of the process with clarity and confidence.

Before attending Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Hong graduated from Columbia University with a degree in biochemistry, earning Dean's List honors every semester. During her undergraduate years, she cultivated a broad range of interests, including classical music, residential advising, leadership development, and community involvement—all of which continue to inform her well-rounded and humanistic approach to mentorship.

Dr. Hong has earned significant recognition for her research and academic achievements. She was selected for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Medical Research Scholarship, through which she conducted research on cardiometabolic disease in patients with psoriasis and on the use of artificial intelligence as a risk-prediction tool. She was also a finalist for the Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Scholarship, a highly prestigious award in cardiovascular research training. Dr. Hong has authored over 20 conference presentations and publications, with her work being published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, Clinical Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, and other journals. 

A central pillar of Dr. Hong's work is a longstanding commitment to mentorship, education, and admissions advising for future physicians. With extensive experience on both sides of the admissions process, she has contributed to medical school and residency admissions through application review, interview-day operations, and Multiple Mini Interview (MMI)-based evaluations at both Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and her residency program at UCLA. She has also served as a volunteer advisor for her undergraduate and medical school alma maters, providing students with nuanced insight into what distinguishes successful applicants beyond traditional metrics.

Dr. Hong is deeply dedicated to mentorship for all, especially for first-generation or non-traditional students pursuing careers in medicine. Through ongoing mentoring initiatives at UCLA and Columbia University, she provides individualized guidance on academic planning, application strategy, personal statement development, and interview preparation. Before attending medical school, Dr. Nash graduated summa cum laude with Highest Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. He also received the Physical & Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research Award. After graduating, he taught undergraduate courses, conducted research in molecular biology, and volunteered in orphanages and hospitals in Mexico. 

Dr. Nash’s academic career is marked by exceptional achievement. A recipient of the National Institutes of Health Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award, he secured competitive federal funding to support his MD/PhD training. He has delivered over 20 national and international conference presentations, earned numerous Best Poster Awards, and was selected for multiple prestigious travel scholarships, including the NIH-USDA Young Investigator Travel Award and Keystone Symposia scholarships. He also received the Nutrition Obesity Research Center Outstanding Graduate Student Award.

Dr. Nash attended the University of Colorado MD/PhD Medical Scientist Training Program on a full-tuition scholarship and stipend. During his training, he studied maternal diet and its role in shaping diseases in the next generation. He worked with transplant hepatology for four years, won over 20 awards, and obtained over $100,000 in scientific grant funding while fundraising for and organizing the best-funded MD/PhD conference in its 30-year history. Dr. Nash has published over 20 peer-reviewed publications focused on nutrition, molecular biology, stem cell biology, and even reptile care. He has also served as a reviewer for JCI Insight and Cell STAR Methods.

At the University of Colorado, Dr. Nash has served on multiple admissions committees, including the Admissions Interview Subcommittee Member, the Primary Review Admissions Committee, and the MD Program Admissions Committee. As a coach, Dr. Nash brings unmatched insight into how competitive MD and MD/PhD applications are evaluated. His experience spans primary application review, interview selection, interviewing, and final committee deliberations. He helps applicants strategically frame their academic metrics, research experiences, and personal narratives to stand out in highly competitive applicant pools. With over 10 years of mentorship experience, Dr. Nash has helped applicants earn acceptances at institutions including Yale, Vanderbilt, UCSF, the University of Colorado, the University of Alabama, and the University of Utah.

Before attending medical school, Dr. Obiarinze attended Texas Woman’s University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biochemistry. She was the President of Iota Sigma Pi, an honor society for women in chemistry. During her junior year of college, Dr. Obiarinze was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. Dr. Obiarinze was a member of the Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP), allowing her to spend summers mentored by medical school admissions committees at different medical centers in Texas. This experience helped her gain inside knowledge into the essential parts of a successful medical school applicant. Dr. Obiarinze also graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center with a Master’s degree in biomedical science. 

At the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Dr. Obiarinze was the Class President of the UTMB Student Caring Clowns organization. Dr. Obiarinze took pleasure in leading a cohort of her peers to achieve measurable goals. She participated heavily in research, and she earned many competitive scholarships and awards throughout her training—accolades that stem from her high level of organization, excellent time management, and discipline.

Before attending medical school, Dr. Silva earned a BS in human biology and nutritional sciences from Michigan State University, where she developed an early interest in research, mentorship, and advocacy. Throughout her training, Dr. Silva has developed an extensive academic portfolio with numerous peer-reviewed publications and podium presentations. Her work has been published in leading journals, including Dermatologic Surgery, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, and the International Journal of Women’s Dermatology. Her research interests include Mohs surgery outcomes, reconstructive techniques, procedural innovation, general dermatology, and sustainability in medicine. She also contributes educational writing to platforms such as DermWorld Directions in Residency and Next Steps in Dermatology.

Dr. Silva has built an impressive record of academic achievement and national recognition. She won 1st place at the Golden Scalpel Knowledge Bowl hosted by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and 1st place at the National Dermatopathology Bowl at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), in addition to a 3rd place finish at the National Dermoscopy Bowl at the AAD. She also contributes educational writing to platforms such as DermWorld Directions in Residency and Next Steps in Dermatology. 

Dr. Silva has demonstrated strong leadership throughout her training through her roles as an Advisory Council member for Derm In-Review, Chief Resident and Resident Education Liaison at HCA Florida Largo Hospital, and Vice President of the Student Osteopathic Surgical Association during medical school. She has also served as Race Director for the SPF 5K benefiting the Melanoma Research Foundation, helping raise over $20,000 in her first year directing the event.

Dr. Griffith graduated summa cum laude with a BA through the University of Minnesota’s Honors Program, double-majoring in physiology and biology, society, and the environment. Her dedication to teaching was recognized early in her career with the University of Minnesota Center for Educational Innovation Excellence in Teaching Award. Prior to medical school, she worked as a medical assistant, gaining firsthand insight into patient care, healthcare systems, and the realities of clinical medicine. 

At Rush Medical College, Dr. Griffith was deeply involved in curricular development, peer tutoring, and institutional committees. She was awarded the RMC Special Committee on the Environment Positive Learning Award as a first-year student, highlighting her commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments. Her medical education experience includes serving as a voting member on the Committee on Curriculum and Evaluation, a founding member of the Educator Role Advising Committee, and Co-President of the RMC Peer Tutoring Program, where she supervised and mentored over 30 student tutors.

Dr. Griffith has also authored several peer-reviewed publications across dermatology, pathology, anatomy education, and clinical medicine, with work published in journals such as Anatomical Sciences Education, Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, JAAD Case Reports, and Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Therapy. Her research has been presented nationally and internationally at conferences, including the American Academy of Dermatology, CHEST, and the World Congress for Hair Research. Her honors thesis examined patient experiences with home-use photobiomodulation devices for alopecia, laying the foundation for a long-standing emphasis on connecting patient-centered care, dermatology, and medical education. She has also written for educational platforms, including VisualDx, and is passionate about making medical education accessible to trainees and professionals alike.

Now a resident physician, Dr. Griffith is a Co-Founder of the Rush Dermatology Skin Protection Free (SPF) Clinic, which expands access to dermatologic care on the West Side of Chicago. She has held leadership positions across dermatology interest groups, pathology education initiatives, and health equity organizations.

Dr. Griffith has extensive teaching and mentorship experience spanning undergraduate human anatomy, medical student peer tutoring, clerkship curriculum instruction, and faculty-partnered educational workshops. Her approach to admissions counseling is personalized, reflective, and supportive. She works with applicants to identify their strengths and areas for improvement and to recognize their unique experiences. Dr. Kulkarni is currently an anesthesiology resident at Brown University Health/Rhode Island Hospital and is finishing his intern year at Roger Williams Medical Center. As an undergraduate, he focused on clinical service and longitudinal research. He also volunteered as an Emergency Medical Responder with the University Emergency Medical Services Association (UEMSA), providing emergency care on campus. Dr. Kulkarni worked as a research assistant within the USF Health Taneja College of Pharmacy as well. In that role, he assisted in research involving novel drug delivery systems such as nanoparticles and thermoreversible gels for ocular diseases, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

During medical school, Dr. Kulkarni contributed to medical scholarship as a Student Editor for the Florida Medical Student Research Journal and participated in organizations including the Anesthesiology Interest Group. His academic work includes several publications and presentations on topics ranging from anesthetic considerations to urologic healthcare, with his work published in the International Journal of Impotence Research, Cureus, and Urology. 

As a mentor, Dr. Kulkarni uses his admissions and recruitment background to help applicants build applications that highlight their unique identities—through sharper narrative structure, clear positioning of experiences, and interview readiness. Dr. Broussard was selected as a member of the DeBakey Scholars Program while at the Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions, which awarded her a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate program entrance and scholarship. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston and received the top departmental chemistry award for two consecutive years. She also taught both biology and chemistry laboratory classes after her first year. 

After graduating from the Baylor College of Medicine, she completed an anesthesiology residency and obtained her Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in hospice and palliative care from the University of Colorado Denver at Anschutz Medical Campus. After residency, she became an attending physician at Baylor College of Medicine, where she mentored medical students and residents for over 12 years. She served as a voting member of the medical school admissions committee for over four years, experience that provided firsthand insight into the qualifications top medical schools seek in competitive applicants. 

Throughout her training and career, she has been involved in both bench and clinical research, resulting in multiple publications and presentations at national and regional conferences. Dr. Broussard has been published in the Journal of Anesthesiology and Clinical Science and has presented at the the Society of Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology Annual Meeting and the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting, among others. 

Over 19 years of practice, Dr. Broussard has worked in one of the world’s top medical centers and built strong relationships with colleagues across Baylor College of Medicine, McGovern Medical School, and numerous institutions and specialties. Her long-standing involvement in education and mentorship has shaped her reputation as a thoughtful, invested supporter of future physicians.

As a coach, Dr. Broussard offers a balanced blend of empathy, strategy, and deep experiential knowledge. She understands the emotional and logistical challenges students face—from self-doubt to feeling overwhelmed—and helps them channel those emotions into actionable plans that support their long-term goals. With over 25 years of mentorship experience, Dr. Broussard has helped students get accepted to multiple medical schools across 20 U.S. states. 

Dr. Broussard is an attentive listener who encourages students to understand situations from multiple perspectives, and her admissions committee experience allows her to identify the qualities that define strong applicants. She helps students highlight these strengths or, when needed, develop a structured path to build them.

Dr. Hooks conducted clinical research as a research assistant at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Focusing primarily on nephrology and surgical research, Dr. Hooks received grants from the National Institutes of Health and National Kidney Foundation. She has over 12 years of research mentorship experience, guiding students in research across biochemistry, health policy, health economics, health services, and physiology. She also has experience mentoring students conducting research in cancer, tumor, cell, and integrative biology. Students who have worked with Dr. Hooks have been accepted to top institutions such as Columbia University, Harvard University, Yale University, USC, UC Irvine, and the University of Maryland.

Dr. Hooks’ career reflects a passion for both medicine and entrepreneurship. She has practiced as a hospitalist, founded a private practice specializing in medical weight loss and aesthetics, and now serves as Medical Director of a healthcare company. Her leadership extends beyond clinical work, through her work as a mentor at Pinnacle Business Academy, providing professional development for physicians and medical trainees alike. She is also the CEO of Phoenix Med Health PLLC, and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Before attending medical school, Dr. Lee graduated with departmental honors in biology from Vassar College, where he was also Captain of Vassar College Emergency Medical Services. He also received the Bruce Gillman Award for fencing. During his gap year, Dr. Lee worked as a research assistant at Northwell Health in thoracic surgery, managing a lung cancer database and published a paper studying the benefits of robotic surgery for lung cancer. 

During his last year in medical school, Dr. Lee was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for excellence in academic performance and leadership. He also graduated with a certificate of special proficiency in medical ultrasound. He was also awarded 2nd place for his poster presentation at the Northwell Academic Competition. Dr. Lee completed his intern year in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he was recognized as Preliminary Intern of the Year. 

Dr. Lee has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Innovations. His work spans topics from robotic surgery to COVID-19 dermatologic manifestations and transfusion-related outcomes in cardiac surgery patients.

Dr. Lee is passionate about medical education and helping students achieve their goals. He has mentored numerous pre-medical students in applying to medical school and is heavily involved in residency mentorship and advising. Students Dr. Lee has coached have been accepted to Harvard Medical School, Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and SUNY Downstate. 

As a coach, Dr. Lee specializes in taking a holistic approach to help students display their unique strengths beyond their academic record or metrics to allow admissions committees to fully appreciate an applicant’s qualities. 

Dr. Ashouri also served as an admissions coach at the USC Keck School of Medicine, where he facilitated interactive, case-based learning sessions that empowered medical students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios. His background in admissions, coupled with his years of experience in MCAT tutoring, gives Dr. Ashouri keen insights into what top medical programs seek at every stage of the admissions process. 

Before medical school, Dr. Ashouri volunteered as an EMT with Royal Ambulatory Services. He takes pride in contributing to community and service initiatives, including his work on a medical device design team and assisting volunteer populations through the International Rescue Committee. 

Dr. Ashouri has published 17 manuscripts, primarily focusing on hematology and oncology. He has led influential studies on immunoglobulins and CXCL5 as biomarkers in immunotherapy-treated hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), explored AXL and necroptosis signaling in colorectal cancer, and conducted research on acute lymphocytic leukemia, resulting in multiple first-author posters at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Ashouri’s work resulted in him receiving two ASCO Conquer Cancer Merit Awards. He has also presented findings on non-small cell lung cancer with the American Association for Cancer Research and regularly serves as a manuscript reviewer for several academic journals.

Throughout his training, Dr. Ashouri has demonstrated academic excellence, clinical leadership, and a strong commitment to impactful research. He uses his unique admissions and clinical experiences to coach students in crafting compelling narratives and excel in the admissions process. During his time at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Siddiqui was named to the Dean’s Honor List and received the Legacy Scholarship for his commitment to volunteer service. During medical school, Dr. Siddiqui served as an interviewer on the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine’s admissions committee. 

Dr. Siddiqui completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital. As a resident, he provided high-acuity care, such as treating neuromuscular and chronic disability conditions. He also served on his residency program’s admissions committee as an interviewer. Dr. Siddiqui’s academic contributions include more than 10 published works across conferences, abstracts, and scientific journals, including the Journal of Cellular Biology and the Journal of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation & Disabilities. His research spans topics from sciatic neuropathy to oncologic transcription factors. 

As an admissions coach, Dr. Siddiqui draws on his extensive clinical and research background to guide applicants with clarity, authenticity, and strategy. His strengths lie in storytelling, consistent advising, and empowering students to articulate their unique journey into medicine. Dr. Siddiqui’s goal is to help students build compelling narratives that resonate with admissions committees.

Dr. Siddiqui is passionate about coaching because he sees mentorship as an extension of being a medical professional and being a source of guidance to the younger generation. Having navigated the journey himself and served on medical school and residency admissions committees, he understands the process immensely. Dr. Siddiqui brings humor, insight, and genuine care to every student he works with.

Dr. Zilkha was valedictorian of her high school and was accepted into an eight-year BA/MD program at Washington University in St. Louis (WashU). After only three years, she graduated from WashU summa cum laude with a BA in Spanish literature and a biology minor. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and received the Sherman Eoff Memorial Award for excellence in Spanish. After graduation, she returned home to New York for a year, where she worked as a tri-lingual receptionist (English, Spanish, Japanese) while applying to medical school.

Dr. Zilkha already had the opportunity to attend the Washington University School of Medicine through the BA/MD program, but she decided to also apply to a few other top medical schools that were closer to home. She was accepted to the Yale School of Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and Columbia School of Medicine, but decided to return to WashU after she was awarded two full-tuition merit scholarships (the Olin Fellowship for Women and the Distinguished Alumni Scholarship) with a stipend.

After that, Dr. Zilkha matched at her top residency choice, which was Schneider Children's Hospital (now Cohen Children's Medical Center) of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. During residency, she won an award for her research on latex allergy in pediatric housestaff. After residency, she did part of a fellowship in allergy/immunology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. After pregnancy complications that disrupted her fellowship, she decided to instead transition to pediatric private practice.

She spent 20 years in pediatric private practice before pivoting to pediatric telemedicine. Dr. Zilkha has worked for multiple large telemedicine companies, but her biggest accomplishment was creating and launching the pediatric telemedicine division for Allied Physicians Group in New York. Once the pandemic hit New York, Dr. Zilkha scaled Allied Pediatric Telemedicine as well as trained physicians in telemedicine across the United States. Dr. Zilkha was personally responsible for bringing pediatric telemedicine to millions of U.S. children.

Dr. Zilkha joined the staff of Hofstra University's Zucker School of Medicine (ZSOM), and then, after helping her daughter apply and get accepted to medical school, her interest in medical school admissions grew. It was then that she joined the ZSOM admissions committee.

Dr. Zilkha is extremely passionate about helping the next generation achieve their dreams of becoming medical professionals. Dr. Andoh grew up in Illinois, attending the Phillips Exeter Academy. At Yale University, she was awarded the International Study Award and was named Student Marshal. During her time at the Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Andoh was awarded the Bay Area Ophthalmology Course Diversity Scholarship (BAOC), paying full tuition for a summer ophthalmology course at the Stanford Department of Ophthalmology. She also won 1st place for her poster through the Rabb-Venable Excellence in Ophthalmology Research Program. She also earned the Miriam Kathleen Dasey Award and Peter A.T. Grannum Prize.

An aspiring vitreoretinal surgeon, Dr. Andoh has published research on topics including diabetic retinopathy, carceral healthcare, and geographic disparities in access to care. Her work has been featured in the Journal of Ophthalmology, Journal of Ophthalmic Epidemiology, Journal of Correctional Healthcare, and JAMA, and has garnered over 100 citations. Her research and advocacy have earned her recognition from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Women in Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Retina Specialists, as well as multiple poster awards.

At the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, Dr. Andoh has been recognized with the Nicholas T. Iliff, MD, and Sharon A. Kress Excellence in Patient Care Award and House Staff Teaching Award. She was also named an MD Advocacy Education Fund Fellow.

Dr. Andoh has worked as a medical content writer and as a program manager for aspiring medical students. She also serves as a peer reviewer for JAMA and Nature Communications. She is excited to work with students and help them achieve their academic pursuits. Dr. Singh’s clinical and academic focus centers on hand, peripheral nerve, and complex reconstructive surgery. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and presented at more than 100 national and international conferences, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Plastic Surgery Research Council. His research spans plastic surgery, surgical education, health services, and the intersection of medicine and social media. His work has been featured in The Plasticsfella, UAB News, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was also honored with awards such as Best Presentation at the Indiana University Plastic Surgery Research Day and a Top 25 Poster Recognition at the ASPS Annual Meeting. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Singh is the founder and CEO of Sky Research LLC, a company dedicated to improving research productivity and collaboration. 

With 10 years of coaching experience, Dr. Singh has mentored hundreds of students at various stages, from pre-medical to medical training, providing guidance in research, academics, and professional development. As a medical student, he founded and led multidisciplinary research groups that connected students with faculty mentors and trained over 100 students in research design and execution, earning institutional recognition for his impact.

Dr. Rodriguez’s educational journey began at the University of Central Florida. Initially intent on graduating with a business degree and entering the business world with his father, life had other plans for him. He was thrust into the medical world as a patient. Finding himself spending more time in the hospital than in the classroom, he began to fall in love with the field of medicine and knew that this was the path for him. 

Dr. Rodriguez went on to the University of South Florida to earn his Master’s degree in anatomy, graduating as the Valedictorian of his class. Afterwards, he chose to attend Albany Medical College. While attending medical school, he was involved with admissions, interviewing applicants, as well as hosting forums for aspiring medical students. His experience provided him with insider knowledge of the key ingredients necessary to successfully navigate medical school interviews. . He continues to be involved in admissions in his residency program by working with medical students on shift and interviewing candidates for the matching process.

Dr. Rodriguez’s passion for counseling and mentoring stems from his own medical admissions journey. As a first-generation physician, he had no prior experience or close mentors who could guide him through the process and provide key and helpful advice—he had to learn the ins and outs of the application process alone. Now, as a practicing physician, he has a passion and strong desire to give back and help others in navigating the incredibly complex medical applications process. He enjoys serving as the mentor he wished he had during his own journey. He also finds a profound sense of fulfillment in helping others in their own journeys.

What sets Dr. Rodriguez’s approach apart as a consultant is his personalized approach. Dr. Saltzberg holds a BA in psychology, graduating cum laude from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and earned his MD from the Chicago Medical School. Dr. Saltzberg completed his pediatrics residency at Northwestern University’s Children’s Memorial Hospital and later pursued advanced training in emergency medicine at the University of Nevada, marking his transition into the field at the very birth of emergency medicine.

Dr. Saltzberg has served as an associate professor at a highly ranked medical school and has been a dedicated medical educator for decades. He has held significant leadership roles, including Chief of Staff at his hospital for 22 years. He is a Fellow and Founding Member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, where he actively contributes to the Physician Wellness and Government Affairs Committees. His commitment to service extends beyond the hospital, as he has volunteered as a medical advisor to Lamb’s Farm since 1987, improving the quality of life for 160 adults with cognitive disabilities.

Currently, Dr. Saltzberg is an Associate Professor at the Chicago Medical School’s Department of Emergency Medicine. A published author, he recently co-authored “An Ethical Analysis of the Arguments For and Against Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates” in the Journal of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Saltzberg’s mentorship has helped students gain acceptance to top institutions, including the Chicago Medical School, Boston College, Northwestern University School of Medicine, Rush University Medical School, and Loyola University School of Medicine, among others. Dr. Liu-Zarzuela has garnered numerous accolades, including the Association of Women Psychiatrists Leah J. Dickstein Award, the Texas Medical Association Lone Star Caucus Scholarship, and the prestigious Albert Schweitzer Fellowship. Her research contributions have been published in esteemed journals such as JAACAP Connect and the Journal of Affective Disorders Reports, focusing on adolescent mental health, social media's impact on mental well-being, and the efficacy of psychiatric interventions in primary care settings.

Dr. Liu-Zarzuela's commitment to advancing healthcare extends beyond her clinical work. She has played a pivotal role in shaping policy through her involvement as an ardent advocate with the Texas Medical Association and American Medical Association, having played a key role in the acceptance of numerous resolutions. 

Dr. Liu-Zarzuela's approach to mentorship is characterized by her attention to detail, responsiveness, and ability to tailor her guidance to each student's needs. Students she has coached have been accepted to multiple medical schools, including Johns Hopkins, Columbia, Cornell, the University of Texas Medical Branch, Baylor, UT Southwestern, and others. Dr. Bradley earned her BA from Knox College before attending Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where she obtained her MD and a global health certificate. She went on to complete her family medicine residency at Northwestern McGaw in Grayslake, Illinois. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Bradley now resides in Las Vegas, NV. She currently works as a Principal Investigator at Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services.

Beyond admissions consulting, Dr. Bradley has had a diverse and impactful career in both clinical and research settings. She has worked as a primary care physician and in clinical pharmaceutical research, conducting Phase I clinical trials. She also has extensive experience in community medicine, including working at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a community hospital, serving many patients.

Dr. Bradley believes in helping students break down higher education barriers as they work toward becoming physicians.  Her approach to admissions consulting is structured, hands-on, and encouraging. Before attending the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Oyewole graduated with a BS in biochemistry & molecular biology with a minor in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. There, he competed in NCAA Division I Football with the Minutemen. 

During his medical training, Dr. Oyewole was an integral part of the medical school admissions committee at Mount Sinai, where he reviewed and evaluated hundreds of applications, helping to refine admissions criteria and identify top candidates. His experience has given him unique insight into what makes an applicant stand out and how to craft a compelling narrative that aligns with an institution’s mission and values. Dr. Clark completed her undergraduate degree in neuroscience & behavior at Barnard College of Columbia University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude. From there, she pursued her medical degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and served as Class President. 

During this time, Dr. Clark also worked as a Global Cause Partnerships and Community Fundraising Coordinator for UNICEF USA, furthering her passion for serving diverse populations. She completed her preliminary intern year at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) before starting her PM&R residency at Stanford. She now holds leadership roles in multiple national organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R),  the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP), the World Academy of Pain Medicine United (WAPMU), the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS), and the Society of Women Innovators in Pain Management (WIPM).

A dedicated researcher and educator, Dr. Clark has authored peer-reviewed articles on pain management, AI in medicine, and musculoskeletal ultrasound, with publications in journals such as Current Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Reports, Journal of Medical Artificial Intelligence, and Cureus Journal of Medical Science. As a resident physician, she has a passion for interventional pain management, performing arts medicine, and musculoskeletal and sports medicine.

Dr. Clark  also devotes significant time to medical education, serving as the medical student liaison at Stanford’s PM&R Program and participating in various committees that focus on admissions and recruitment. Her nearly decade-long mentorship experience includes guiding students from diverse backgrounds toward acceptance at medical schools and residency programs at Loyola, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, the Mayo Clinic, and Mount Sinai.

Outside of her clinical and educational pursuits, Dr. Clark enjoys a lifelong passion for performing arts. She has performed on the Tony Awards stage and remains active in dance and musical theater, which informs her holistic perspective on patient care—particularly for performing artists. 

Through her clinical practice, research, and mentorship, Dr. Clark aims to empower future healthcare professionals to confidently pursue their goals in medicine while maintaining her commitment to compassionate patient care.

Dr. Akomeah’s passion for patient care was ignited in her childhood when she would play “doctor” at her mother’s small pharmacy in Ghana. After moving to the United States, Dr. Akomeah became a certified nursing assistant before attaining a BS in biology with a minor in philosophy from George Washington University (GWU), graduating cum laude. She further honed her research and clinical coordination skills during a post-baccalaureate experience at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on obesity research. 

Returning to GWU for medical school, Dr. Akomeah served as President of the Society of Health and Nutrition and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also pursued global health by volunteering in a clinic in Antigua, Guatemala—an experience that shaped her commitment to caring for diverse patient populations across all age groups.

Drawn to emergency medicine, Dr. Akomeah completed her residency at Carolinas Medical Center (now Atrium Health), where she developed a strong interest in student mentorship. In addition to hosting residency applicants and conducting mock interviews, she credits her own phenomenal mentor for inspiring her to help others succeed. She also led efforts to develop tools to attract a diverse and talented pool of residents for her department and to ensure that a culture of inclusion and awareness was fostered. Following her residency, Dr. Akomeah started a medical education fellowship at the University of Maryland and pursued a Master of Education in health professions at Johns Hopkins University.

Currently, Dr. Akomeah serves as an adjunct professor and Educational Director in her emergency department at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center, precepting medical students from Caribbean schools and residents in family medicine, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. She is also known for integrating lifestyle medicine into her practice, often coaching patients on how dietary and behavioral changes can help manage or reverse chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. 

Beyond her clinical duties, Dr. Akomeah has published on topics ranging from emergency medicine training in Africa to obesity research, reflecting her commitment to global health and evidence-based practice. 

Dr. Akomeah has continued to mentor residents, undergraduate students, and medical students, as she enjoys assisting students navigate the path to medical school and residency. Dr. Mwangi's academic career began with a full-ride scholarship to Texas A&M Commerce, where he laid the foundation for his medical education. He then earned his MD from Texas Tech Health Science Center School of Medicine, entering as a non-traditional applicant through the Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP). Following medical school, he completed his family physician residency at HCA-Houston Healthcare West.

Dr. Mwangi spent three years as a JAMP coordinator, where he provided complementary curriculum support, provided advice to prospective students on the medical school admissions process, and orchestrated ice-breaking activities and team-building exercises to foster morale and social integration.

Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Mwangi has been committed to supporting his peers and future medical professionals. He served as a peer tutor for multiple courses, including organic chemistry and statistics, demonstrating his ability to break down complex concepts for others. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge is evident in his extensive research experience, including serving as an oncology research assistant for the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas. Dr. Athreya earned his BA in kinesiology and exercise science from Rice University before pursuing both an MPH  and MD at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He has completed multiple prestigious fellowships, including the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, Population Health Postdoctoral Fellowship through the University of Texas System, and the Preventive Medicine Fellowship at Emory University. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident.

With a passion for guiding aspiring healthcare professionals, Dr. Athreya successfully mentored numerous students and professionals on how to navigate the rigorous journey to medical school and secure placements in highly competitive residency programs. Drawing on his own experience, years of admissions experience in a decision-making capacity, and expertise in family medicine, Dr. Athreya is committed to providing personalized advice on application strategies, interview preparation, and the development of strong, competitive candidacies.

Dr. Hasselmo graduated magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard College, where she studied organismic and evolutionary biology. She discovered her passion for psychiatry and working with young patients while conducting her neuroimaging thesis on social cognition, which won the Hoopes Prize for outstanding scholarly work. Outside the lab, she was an editor for Harvard’s literary and humor magazines. 

After graduation, she completed a clinical neuroscience fellowship at Yale’s Child Study Center, working in the Developmental Disabilities Clinic and contributing to research on social functioning and biomarkers of autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. After being offered multiple merit-based scholarships, she chose to pursue her MD at Yale School of Medicine.

Throughout medical school, Dr. Hasselmo won the Marguerite Rush-Lerner and PHM Health Professions Creative Medical Writing and Art Contest awards annually for her comics and graphic short stories. She was also honored with the Howard Spiro Society Creative Writing Award in 2022. Many of Dr. Hasselmo’s accomplishments relate to her passion for storytelling. She created a coloring book, called a Hero’s Journey, through collaboration with Yale's inpatient pediatric psychiatry service, to help children and young adolescents demystify and offer guidance through inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Her historical medical research, which also focused on storytelling, earned her the Elias E. Manuelidis Memorial Fund Grant and the William B. Bean Student Research Award.

At Yale, Dr. Hasslemo collaborated with the inpatient pediatric psychiatry and served as a clinical team member at Yale’s HAVEN Free Clinic, providing care to uninsured patients in New Haven. Recognizing the anxiety and stress that often accompany the admissions process, she began using her storytelling and communication skills to help pre-med students craft compelling personal statements and present themselves confidently in interviews.

Dr. Hendrix started his higher education journey by earning a  BS in biomedical sciences from Auburn University. He earned an MD at the University of Michigan Medical School on a full merit scholarship, followed by residency training in anesthesiology and fellowships in pain medicine and cardiothoracic anesthesiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He recently earned dual executive master's degrees in healthcare leadership and management from the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating as a scholar with high distinction.

He has held leadership positions at major institutions, including the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and has served on multiple national committees, including the Vascularized Composite Allograft Transplantation Committee for UNOS, and advisory roles with the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Dr. Hendrix is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine and holds numerous professional certifications, including Certified Physician Executive (CPE), Certified Principal Investigator (CPI), and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). His research has been published in leading medical journals, with significant contributions to understanding cardiovascular physiology, pain management, and perioperative care.

With 12+ years of coaching and mentoring experience, informed by eight years serving on admissions committees and as an interviewer at the University of Michigan and University of Texas Southwestern. During his tenure, Dr. Hendrix reviewed 800+ applications and was involved in the decision-making process. 

Dr. Hendrix remains active in medical education and serves as a mentor to the next generation of physicians while continuing to advance the fields of anesthesiology and pain medicine through research and clinical excellence.

Dr. Yoo earned a BS in communication studies and disorders from Northwestern University before graduating with an MD from the Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at McGaw Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Yoo currently practices at Aurora Eye Clinic Ltd.

In addition to residency selection committee experience, Dr. Yoo spent many years on the Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine admissions committee for medical applicants. With more than 17 years of experience mentoring students at the college, medical school, and residency levels, Dr. Yoo has gained insight into the full spectrum of medical education admissions. 

Dr. Yoo takes a personalized approach to counseling, aspiring physicians have the tools necessary to reach their goals. He believes in getting to know each candidate as an individual to work toward the best possible outcomes for their medical school or residency applications.
