Dr. Saw graduated with a BA in biology from Case Western Reserve University before attending Loma Linda University on a scholarship. During her career, she founded and ran Elevated Smiles, a successful private dental practice in San Diego, where she delivered compassionate care with cutting-edge technology.

Dr. Saw founded Light Solutions, a company that integrated luxury brands with dental loupes. She also served on the American Dental Association’s Innovation Advisory Committee of the ADA Board of Trustees and currently serves on the board of Bridge to Health. 

 Dr. Saw is the Founder and CEO of Oral Genome, a biotechnology venture developing saliva‑based diagnostics for early preventive healthcare. She is also the Founder and serves on the Harmony Health Foundation’s Board of Directors. This nonprofit focuses on advancing oral health equity for underserved and Medicaid populations across the U.S.

As a mentor and admissions coach, Dr. Saw brings 10 years of experience helping students get into top dental schools. She has guided applicants to dental schools including Loma Linda University, UCLA School of Dentistry, Western University of Health Sciences (Pomona), and the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, public health advocacy, and commitment to equitable access, Dr. Saw is dedicated to helping aspiring dental professionals navigate their paths with confidence and purpose.

Amy pursued her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She served as an undergraduate research assistant at her college for four years. In dental school, Amy helped applicants craft authentic and compelling stories, identifying their key strengths and tailoring narratives to resonate with admissions committees. As an experienced MMI interviewer at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, she understands what top dental schools value and equips students with the confidence and clarity to present their best selves.

As a National Health Service Corps Scholar, Amy received full tuition support along with a stipend. Her leadership spans roles such as President of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Club, Vice‑President of the Xi Psi Phi Fraternity (where she helped re‑charter the chapter), and Honor Council Liaison. She has also been conducting cutting‑edge pain research with the Emrick Lab, earning national recognition for her presentations.

Amy has developed telehealth workflows at Michigan’s Integrative Special Care Clinic and helps lead Taft Clinic, a free dental clinic for underserved patients. She is passionate about advancing equitable oral healthcare through community engagement, behavioral health integration, and research. Amy also supports outreach through Give Kids A Smile, global service trips to Kenya, and advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill.

As an admissions mentor, Amy takes an individualized, strategic approach to each applicant she works with. She focuses on identifying key strengths and helping students tell authentic, compelling stories through their applications. With a strong eye for narrative structure and detail, she empowers applicants to problem-solve, refine their materials, and confidently present themselves throughout the admissions process. Amy brings a well-rounded perspective to dental admissions consulting, having successfully applied through both AADSAS and TMDSAS as an out-of-state applicant, earning acceptances to every school she applied to with competitive scholarships to top programs. 

Dr. Shah graduated cum laude from Adelphi University, where she was inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society for her academic and leadership achievements. She graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with distinction, receiving both an academic scholarship and a competitive research grant for her work on the oral health needs of intimate partner violence survivors, later published as part of the university’s prestigious Bates Andrews Research Initiative. 

Dr. Shah's professional journey has included comprehensive general and pediatric dentistry in both private practice and community settings. She has lectured at every dental school in California, guiding students on public health pathways and loan repayment programs. Dr. Shah has served as an outreach dental consultant for the State of California’s Medi-Cal Dental Program, where she led policy initiatives—most notably the Teledentistry Expansion Project—and collaborated with state and nonprofit leaders to improve access to care.

As a dental school admissions coach, Dr. Shah brings her greatest strengths to the forefront: her deep understanding of the admissions landscape, a keen eye for strategic storytelling in personal statements, and a heartfelt commitment to each student’s individual journey. Her coaching style is personalized, encouraging, and grounded in real-world experience, helping applicants gain acceptance to dental school and grow into impactful healthcare leaders.

Dr. Shah’s passion for mentorship is rooted in her belief in service and access. From founding a sustainable dental clinic in Uganda and volunteering clinic instruction at the UC San Diego Free Dental Clinics to supporting nonprofits on global health and education, her work consistently reflects her values of empowerment and equity.

Dr. Shah is also an accomplished content writer and editor for health and wellness brands, where she combines science communication with powerful storytelling. Her literary work includes the award-winning book For My Sister, recipient of the American Book Award for Social Change.

Dr. Nguyen has been deeply involved in leadership and mentorship throughout her educational journey. At Wichita State, she served as Secretary of the Pre-Dental Association. During dental school, Dr. Nguyen served as a student interviewer at UMKC for two years, participating in applicant interviews and gaining valuable insights into what dental programs seek in candidates. She also served as Historian on her Class Executive Board, Treasurer of the Student National Dental Association, and as a teaching assistant for Operative II Lab. 

After spending a summer shadowing her uncle in high school, Dr. Nguyen fell in love with the hands-on nature of dentistry, its ability to impact communities, and its long-term career flexibility. While she initially considered pediatric dentistry or oral surgery, she ultimately chose general dentistry to serve a broader population with comprehensive care.

Dr. Nguyen has worked in various clinical settings since graduating and has provided care to patients of all ages. She enjoys educating patients and delivering esthetic treatments like veneers and dentures.

As a coach, Dr. Nguyen is committed to helping students gain admission to their dream dental schools—and succeed once they’re there. She understands the stress and uncertainty of the process and aims to be the mentor she wished she had. One of her recent mentees was accepted into an early admissions program, and she looks forward to helping others achieve the same success.

Dr. Perry brings seven years of coaching, tutoring, and counseling experience to his role as a dental school admissions counselor. He previously served as a writing consultant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where he worked one-on-one with students across various medical, dental, nursing, and graduate programs. Before that, he worked as a writing tutor at Roanoke College’s Center for Learning and Teaching, assisting students from diverse academic backgrounds with both written and oral communication. 

In addition to his coaching experience, Dr. Perry has been deeply involved in service and mentorship throughout his academic journey. He has led community outreach initiatives as President of the CORE Chapter of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry and mentored high school students interested in health professions through programs like Generation NeXT and the Middle School to Dental School Mentoring Initiative. Dr. Perry’s ability to connect with students and provide guidance, particularly those navigating the path to dentistry without strong support systems, motivates him to continue coaching alongside his clinical work.

Dr. Perry has received numerous honors for his academic excellence and leadership, including the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship, the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Senior Award, the Fintel Senior Scholarship, and membership in honor societies such as Alpha Lambda Delta, Sigma Alpha Pi, and the Student Leadership Institute – Executive Leadership concentration.

What sets Dr. Perry apart as an admissions coach is his empathy, authenticity, and clarity. He is especially skilled at helping applicants craft compelling narratives that reflect their personal identity and professional goals, and he thrives on demystifying the dental admissions process for students. 

Dr. Perry’s consulting style is hands-on and personal; he believes in working with a small group of students at a time to ensure that each receives the dedicated attention and individualized strategy they deserve.

After college, Dr. Castillo held a six-month research position at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and then participated in the National Institutes of Health’s post-baccalaureate research program for one year. These experiences led him to apply and eventually gain acceptance to multiple dental schools, including Temple, NYU, and Howard University, where he ultimately earned his DDS. Dr. Castillo credits his clinical strength to his training at Howard, where working in an underserved area gave him and his classmates abundant opportunities to care for patients in need.

After dental school and residency, Dr. Castillo opened his first private practice and has since treated thousands of patients. He has worked as both a practice owner and associate dentist, managing all aspects of his clinics while providing high-quality care. Dr. Castillo currently leads his own clinic, Castillo Dental Studio in Pembroke Pines, where he manages a team of eight and cares for over 1,500 active patients.

While in dental school, Dr. Castillo served on the student admissions committee at Howard, where he evaluated many applications and interviewed candidates over two years. He played an active role in decision-making throughout the process and brings that admissions insight to his coaching today.

With years of coaching experience, Dr. Castillo has mentored students who have been accepted to top schools, including the University of Florida, the University of Miami, NYU, and Florida State University. Dr. Castillo’s passion for mentorship was inspired by his own experience as a mentee and the insightful guidance provided to him by his cousin, a renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeon. 

Dr. Castillo has a special eye for detail and is incredibly goal-oriented. He has witnessed the significant changes and technological advances that have changed the landscape of dentistry. He has taken a significant amount of continuing education hours worldwide and has a unique network of colleagues within the field. Dr Castillo continues to have his finger on the pulse and understands what is needed to be a successful dental school candidate. He believes in a personalized approach to consulting and finds supporting students on their admissions journeys to be incredibly rewarding. 

Dr. Allan holds a BA in biology from the University of Texas at Austin, where she also began her mentorship journey as a Sexual Health Peer Advisor, counseling fellow students and developing her interest in advising. She graduated with a DMD and a certificate in public health from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, and later completed her pediatric dental residency and an MS in dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

During her time at Louisville, Dr. Allan served as Chief Pediatric Dental Resident and actively participated in the admissions process for the residency program. She helped review many applications, interviewed several candidates, and was involved in the final ranking decisions, giving her a true insider perspective on what makes applicants stand out.

Her passion for pediatric dentistry developed early in her clinical career while working at a general family practice. Since then, she has held positions across Texas, including at Poplin Pediatric Dentistry, Hill Country Pediatric Dentistry, Austin Children’s Dentistry, and more. She is also Solea Dental Laser certified and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Capital Area Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Allan’s academic recognition includes induction into the Gamma Sigma Alpha Honor Society, Delta Mu Sigma Honor Society, and selection for the National Dean’s List. She was also recognized at the Women in Science Banquet and awarded University Honors at UT Austin. Her research project, Pediatric Hospital Dentistry: Developing a Strategy Based on Carious Surfaces Versus Carious Teeth, was presented at the American Academy of Pediatrics Annual Session.

As an admissions consultant, Dr. Allan’s unique approach begins with putting the applicant at ease, as their frame of mind is tantamount to achieving their goals. She places a strong emphasis on getting to know each student and identifying their unique attributes. Dr. Allan strives to help students determine why they want to pursue a career in dentistry and keep that motivation at the forefront of their minds throughout the process. She helps applicants stay organized and tackle the journey one step at a time. As a seasoned pediatric dentist, Dr. Allan can answer questions that relate to clinical practice and offer her personal experiences and anecdotes to help students grasp the day-to-day life of a dentist.

With a strong academic foundation that began at Florida International University, Dr. Hanna completed his DMD at Temple University and has since pursued further specialization in dental sleep medicine at Tufts University. His wide-ranging experience allows him to guide students across clinical subjects and application strategy with clarity and depth.

Dr. Hanna is the founder and CEO of Socorro Dental LLC, where he manages multiple dental clinics throughout New Mexico and leads a mobile dental initiative to serve rural and underserved communities. Dr. Hanna is also the CEO of the New Mexico Dental Institute, a dental clinic offering fast-track programs for aspiring dental assistants. Through these ventures, he has hired, trained, and mentored numerous dental professionals, placing a strong emphasis on education and excellence in care.

With over a decade of mentorship experience, Dr. Hanna has guided many students to successful outcomes, including acceptances to dental programs at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania. His approach is hands-on and student-first, rooted in goal-setting, honest feedback, and a focus on building confidence and competency at every stage. Dr. Hanna offers experience-driven mentorship and a deep commitment to helping students from all backgrounds thrive.

She earned a BA in history of science, medicine, and public health from Yale University, graduating with distinction. At Yale, she demonstrated her versatility by working as a first-year counselor, conducting medical historical research at the Yale School of Medicine medical library, and producing a professional studio album for her a cappella group, Something Extra. She was also named the Distinguished Young Woman of Connecticut during her first year of college. Dr. Everlith went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she excelled academically and earned the prestigious Dean’s Scholarship.

During her undergraduate and graduate studies, Dr. Everlith gained valuable experience in various roles, including patient care coordinator, oral surgery assistant, summer camp director on Yale’s campus, and even working at Walt Disney World. In addition to her academic achievements and coaching experience, Dr. Everlith plans to complete a general practice residency at Overlook Medical Center.

Dr. Everlith has been coaching dental school applicants for five years, helping students gain acceptance to top dental programs at Harvard, UPenn, UConn, Rutgers, Tufts, USC, Temple, and many others. She uses her unique perspective as a first-generation, low-income applicant and experienced admissions coach to help students find their own ways to shine.

Dr. Oyenuga demonstrates exceptional leadership abilities, teaching expertise, and talent for consulting healthcare practices. She graduated with a DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine after completing a BA in history at Union College. Dr. Oyenuga also holds an MS in biomedical sciences from the Rutgers School of Biomedical Sciences and is currently pursuing an MBA from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business. She also completed a general practice residency to further enhance her clinical skills. 

Dr. Oyenuga participated in the American Dental Association (ADA) Institute for Diversity in Leadership, a one-year program aimed at improving leadership skills for dentists from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds. She is also an active member of the Faculty Leadership Institute at NYU College of Dentistry's Center for Oral Health Policy and Management. She has made significant contributions to improving access to oral healthcare for underserved communities, notably by establishing a mobile clinic in collaboration with the Manny Cantor Center, supervising third and fourth-year dental students.

As a coach, Dr. Oyenuga’s friendly and approachable personality allows her to build long-term rapport with applicants. She takes a structured approach to admissions counseling, ensuring key milestones are met with clear plans and step-by-step guidance. 

Dr. Olson’s educational journey began at Gustavus Adolphus College, where he graduated magna cum laude in psychological science, earning a spot on the President's Honors List. During his undergraduate years, Dr. Olson worked for the Office of Admissions for four years as a tour guide and admissions representative, gaining valuable insider knowledge of the admissions process. He was awarded the prestigious Knut & Alice Wallenberg Foundation Internship Award, which allowed him to complete an internship in Sweden. 

After college, Dr. Olson graduated with a DDS from UCSF, where he continued his involvement in admissions. He worked as an Outreach Assistant and Lead Student Ambassador for the 100+ member student organization that interviews prospective dental students. In this two-year role, he helped develop and distribute the interview rubric and criteria to student ambassadors, conducted prospective student webinars, and assisted with post-graduate dental admissions processing. 

Dr. Olson further advanced his education by earning an MS in oral and craniofacial sciences while completing his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at UCSF. He also interviewed prospective residents both in-person and virtually, gaining insight into the qualities sought by admissions committees and residency programs. During his residency training, Dr. Olson was selected as the Academic Chief Resident, responsible for planning and executing the year-long seminar series for all pediatric dental residents.

Currently, Dr. Olson works as a pediatric dentist at Hopscotch Children's Dentistry and Marin Community Clinics. With years of coaching experience, he has helped students get accepted to dental school, including the UCSF School of Dentistry, the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, and Creighton University School of Dentistry. 

Each counseling session with Dr. Olson is goal-oriented, but flexible. He lets students drive the sessions by identifying what they want to focus on and discuss.  This approach ensures students are well-equipped with purposeful direction and resources to answer their questions and help prepare their materials.

Dr. Bowen's academic journey began at Virginia Tech, where she graduated with a BS in biology and chemistry. She was recognized as a Virginia Tech Pamplin Leader and received multiple scholarships, including the C. Bascom Slemp and Lacy & Mattie Meador Memorial. During college, Dr. Bowen was inducted into the Phi Sigma Honors Society. She continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, graduating with a DDS degree. Her dental school accomplishments include graduating in the top 10 of production in her dental school class, receiving the Senior Class Scholarship, and earning the Rural Virginia Scholarship.

Dr. Bowen further expanded her expertise with a Master of Arts in higher, adult, and lifelong education (HALE) from Michigan State University, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She was also inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Dr. Bowen received an MPH emphasizing policy and leadership from East Tennessee State University, where she was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success and awarded the ETSU Outstanding Public Health Graduate Student for Policy and Leadership Award.

As an Appalachian native, Dr. Bowen demonstrates her commitment to improving healthcare access through her involvement with numerous organizations, including the Appalachian Regional Commission's (ARC) Appalachian Leadership Institute, the Lenowisco Oral Health Coalition, the University of Virginia's Cancer Center SWVA Community Advisory Board, the Virginia HPV Immunization Taskforce, the Virginia Health Catalyst's Future of Public Oral Health Taskforce, the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation, and the Virginia Dental Association's Workforce Committee.

Dr. Bowen leverages her unique background and perspective when working with students to build relationships with dental school applicants. She has a keen eye for detail and a complex understanding of the dental school admissions landscape. Her friendly and supportive demeanor and academic and professional expertise give students the confidence to dive into the application cycle. She looks forward to working with the next generation of dental professionals!

Dr. Stoddart began her academic journey as an international student at Mount Holyoke College, where she earned a BA in chemistry and mathematics. Her academic excellence continued as she navigated the competitive dental school application process, earning admissions to prestigious institutions including the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and Stony Brook University—ultimately gaining acceptance to nine out of ten dental schools she applied to.

She chose to complete her dental education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine due to the program's focus on medical-dental integration. Dr. Stoddart later refined her expertise with a healthcare MBA from Florida International University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Her educational background also includes advanced degrees from Boston University School of Engineering, where she earned both a Master of Science and a Master of Arts.

As a practicing general dentist, Dr. Stoddart has built her career on a passion for making quality dental care accessible to underserved populations. Her commitment to this cause earned her recognition from the Hispanic Dental Association for her contribution and dedication to minority communities.

Dr. Stoddart specializes in mentoring students with diverse backgrounds. Under her guidance, students have successfully navigated the stresses of dental school admissions, secured positions in competitive residency programs, and even established their own dental practices.

Dr. Stoddart believes dentistry should be part of a holistic approach to healthcare. Dr. Pastewait is a Distinguished Graduate from the US Air Force Academy, graduating as the top cadet in the field of chemistry. He earned his first Master’s degree from the University of Maryland in College Park. Upon graduation, Dr. Pastewait worked as a chemist for the Air Force Research Laboratory for four years. In this role, he developed rocket propellant and deployed to Southwest Asia multiple times in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

Upon his return, Dr. Pastewait entered the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine on the Health Professions Scholarship Program. At this time, he began mentoring and tutoring other dental students in both didactic and clinical courses. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. 

After graduation, Dr. Pastewait worked as a general dentist for three years before applying for an orthodontic residency. While attending the UNC Adams School of Dentistry Orthodontic program, Dr. Pastewait worked as a teaching assistant, mentoring dental students on growth and development as well as orthodontic fundamentals. Serving on the orthodontics admissions committee gave him a deeper understanding of what makes applications and interviewers successful.

His education and mentorship skills were further honed when he became the Orthodontic Course Director for an AEGD-1 program. Building on his previous residency admissions committee experience, Dr. Pastewait became an interviewer and selection committee member for the US Air Force AEGD-1 Program and Health Professions Scholarship Program. 

Dr. Pastewait has coached numerous applicants who have been accepted to top dental schools, including Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, and many others. As an admissions coach, he draws upon his extensive research, education, and clinical experience to guide prospective dentists in their educational journey. His non-traditional path helps him to relate to applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Dr. Parmar is a highly skilled dental admissions expert with a deep understanding of the application process and the rigorous journey from undergraduate studies to dental school. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology with honors from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before attending the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Over the course of her academic and professional journey, Dr. Parmar has gained invaluable insights into the admissions process, the challenges of dental school, and what it takes for candidates to stand out.

Dr. Parmar’s passion for coaching stems from a genuine desire to see students succeed. Having personally experienced the challenges of dental school admissions, Dr. Parmar is committed to empowering applicants to confidently navigate the process and take purposeful steps to strengthen their candidacy. Dr. Parmar’s roles as Matriculation Coordinator and Ambassador have allowed her to work closely with new students navigating the transition to dental school. Dr. Parmar has interacted with countless prospective students and incoming DMD students, and has observed firsthand the qualities that make an applicant truly shine in the admissions process.

She ensures that applicants meet all academic prerequisites and helps them build a well-rounded profile through clinical shadowing, volunteer work, and leadership roles.

Dr. Choe's educational journey began at Duke University, where he double majored in biology and chemistry. He then pursued his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Driven to specialize and expand his knowledge, he completed specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He earned a PhD in bioengineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Dr. Choe’s clinician role as a dentist for nearly eight years has allowed him to gain extensive experience in dentistry, including implant surgeries, full-mouth rehabilitations, and digital dental technology. With over a decade of experience as an admissions coach and mentor, he helps students pursue graduate and professional education in dentistry.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Choe has made significant contributions to the field of tissue engineering, with numerous publications to his name. His involvement in the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps program further highlights his dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and translating research into practical applications.

Dr. Choe's approach to coaching is flexible and tailored to each individual—students he has coached have been accepted to top dental schools at New York University and the University of Pittsburgh, among others. He takes the time to understand what motivates and inspires students, allowing him to provide personalized guidance and support. His encouraging and upbeat demeanor helps to keep students motivated, even during challenging times. He strongly believes in the power of positive reinforcement and strives to draw out the best in each student's capabilities. Dr. Choe strongly believes in paying it forward and helping all students he works with achieve their dreams.

During his undergraduate years, Isaac served as a teaching assistant for multiple STEM courses and engaged in chemical research with Stony Brook’s Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering. Following his successful acceptance into his preferred dental school and one of only two accelerated programs nationwide, he assisted several other students in navigating and succeeding in the admissions process.

Isaac is driven by a passion for student success. With a diverse background in healthcare, teaching, and research, he brings valuable insights to prospective dental students. His coaching style is both structured and personalized, focusing on breaking down complex tasks into manageable steps and scheduling sessions strategically to prevent students from feeling overwhelmed. Students Isaac has coached have been accepted to dental programs at the University of Michigan, New York University, the University of Buffalo, and Stony Brook University, among others. 

As a coach, Isaac excels at identifying individual strengths and helping students craft compelling personal narratives. She was also an avid volunteer at events such as Give Kids a Smile and she lobbied on Capitol Hill on behalf of her patients and dental colleagues. Dr. Kalajian was also the Class Representative acting as the liaison between pre-doctoral students and other local ASDA members. She was recognized as the ASDA District 1 New England Delegate of the Year and was awarded the ASDA Award of Excellence. The Connecticut State Dental Association presented her with the Charles A.
