How Inspira Advantage Helped Leora Gain Acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania

Leora was a high school freshman who was certain she wanted to become a doctor. She wanted to ensure she had the next three years to improve her college and BS/MD profile as much as possible before applying. Leora dreamt of attending an Ivy League medical school or top BS/MD program; she and her parents came to Inspira Advantage for help mapping out her high school journey. 

We created a multi-year roadmap outlining extracurricular activities, course schedules, and summer experiences tailored to Leora’s goals and interests. We helped Leora pursue high-level biology, chemistry, and physics courses to lay a strong academic foundation for college and medical school. We also guided  Leora through selecting and exploring extracurriculars that interested her most. With Inspira Advantage’s guidance, Leora shadowed a family doctor, volunteered at a local clinic, attended three prestigious pre-college summer programs, and launched a YouTube channel dedicated to exploring hobbies and medicine. 

Leora was accepted to 2 BS/MD programs, 2 BA/MD programs, and 10 colleges, including 3 Ivy League schools. She decided to attend the University of Pennsylvania.
