Dr. Gupta graduated with an MD from the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, where he was deeply involved in research, peer mentorship, and student wellness leadership. He received the Larner College of Medicine Research Scholarship and was awarded a Presidential Poster Award by the American Geriatrics Society for his research on chronic kidney disease and resilience, which he presented at two national conferences. At Larner, he also served as a STEP and peer mentor, supporting junior medical students through their academic and application journeys, and founded the Larner Footy Soccer Interest Group to build community through sport.
At Mass General, Dr. Gupta trains under Harvard faculty and actively contributes to medical education by teaching Harvard medical students and presenting case studies at Internal Medicine Department teaching conferences. His clinical interests include regional anesthesia, acute pain, and cardiac anesthesia.
