In medical school, she continued to lead innovative healthcare design initiatives, including a vibratory syringe to reduce insertion pain during injections and a lever attachment to improve mechanical efficiency in manual wheelchairs. Alisha’s research has been published in multiple journals, including the Journal of Surgical Oncology and Advances in Orthopedics. Alisha also enjoys combining her love for teaching with leadership and service.
