Haley is pursuing a DVM at Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine and is deeply interested in Feline Infectious Peritonitis. She is currently working with LIU’s virologist to develop genome maps and a diagnostic protocol. Haley also works as a veterinary technician in Connecticut and New York. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lasell University with a dual degree in Biological Science and Chemistry. 

While at LU, Haley held the position of President of Philanthropy in the Student Alumni Association, earning her the Summer Student Stipend Award. After graduation, she began her veterinary medicine journey at Orange Veterinary Hospital in Connecticut, where she served as a valued veterinary technician and, later, a student ambassador for United Veterinary Care. 

Haley's passion for animals has always been strong; she spent her childhood watching Steve Irwin and documenting local animals. Her love for people is just as strong, which is why she enjoys mentoring veterinary students. Haley scored in the highest percentile on her CASPer exam and has been dedicated to assisting students achieve similar success ever since. 

As a CASPer tutor, Haley passionately contends that the exam can be an enjoyable experience. She believes it provides a more accurate measure of an applicant's field readiness compared to traditional exams. Her tutoring approach is relaxed and personalized, viewing each study session as a chance to not only get closer to the student's target score, but to also acquire valuable life skills. Throughout Haley’s professional life, she has been commended for her upbeat and unrelenting optimism and kindness. She's eager to share her enthusiasm for the CASPer exam with you!

Haley also enjoys a range of activities outside the veterinary world. She loves music, art, and gardening. She is a strong advocate for mental health awareness and enjoys taking care of her rescue animals. She is a proud pet mom to her Yorkshire Terrier, Chispita, and her Scottish Fold, Sasha.
