Andrew is completing his medical studies at The Ohio State University while simultaneously participating in a prestigious year-long research fellowship at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. Andrew has a rich academic background with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Mathematics from Pomona College. While at Pomona, Andrew displayed his leadership skills as the captain of the varsity football and baseball teams. He also held various leadership positions on campus and participated in neuroscience research through the David Prober lab at Caltech. Andrew's gap year after graduation saw him gain more clinical and research experience. He scribed in an emergency department and worked at start-ups within two medical specialties: radiology and ophthalmology. As a medical student, Andrew discovered a new passion for orthopedics and orthopedic research, leading him to serve as president of the OSU American Medical Association chapter, president of the Honors and Professionalism Council, and a peer tutor. His exemplary work made him a member of the Gold Humanism Honors Society.
