Before attending the Stanford University School of Medicine, Austin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Denver (DU) with a BS in biological sciences and minors in leadership studies, medical physics, chemistry, and psychology. His role as president of the DU Pre-Health Club and participation in the DU Pioneer Leadership program further highlight his dedication to becoming a socially conscious physician leader. Austin’s passion for mentorship has culminated in a diverse set of experiences ranging from intensive one-on-one sessions with prospective professional students to leading large group events designed to level the playing field in test-taking, research, and the admissions process as a member of the Leadership in Health Disparities and Stanford Clinical Summer Internship programs. He is excited to guide the next generation of physician leaders in achieving their goals no matter their background.

Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine
Dr. Munoz attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine before becoming a resident at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With over 10 years of experience in advising and tutoring students and five years in selecting, interviewing, and ranking applicants for medical school and residency, Dr. Munoz has developed a deep understanding of the admissions process. She currently sits on the admissions committee for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Munoz’s 10+ years of extensive mentoring and admissions experience have provided her with insider tips for the admissions process from the perspective of admissions committees she is excited to share with aspiring medical professionals.
