Over the past decade, she has guided students to acceptances at nationally recognized programs at UCSF, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Emory University, Georgetown University, University of Maryland, University of Wisconsin, Rush Medical College, SUNY Downstate, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, Howard University, Drexel University, University of Houston, and others. Her mentees have also matriculated into leading osteopathic programs, including VCOM, NYITCOM, Rowan SOM, Lincoln Memorial University–DCOM, and University of Pikeville–KYCOM. She has reviewed and continues to interview applicants at every stage of medical training, giving her direct access to insights into the decisions made in the medical admissions process.

From school list architecture to narrative positioning and interview execution, she helps candidates transform self-doubt into discipline, competitiveness, and readiness to present the best version of themselves on interview day. 

As an admissions coach, Dr. Okafor excels in helping candidates craft compelling personal statements that highlight resilience, leadership, passion, and purpose. Her coaching model reflects her own trajectory from Division I athlete to WNBA professional to surgical resident physician: preparation is the key, performance is the result, and confidence is what is built when you consistently put in the effort. With a focus on pre-med consulting, high-level application strategy, and professional development, Dr. Okafor has established herself as a respected mentor and national advocate for aspiring physicians.
