Dr. Natasha Baah, Med School Admissions Consultant at Inspira Advantage

Dr. Baah is a family medicine physician who earned a DO from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She formerly served as Assistant Director of Admissions at Brown Mackie College and brings over a decade of mentorship experience to her role as a medical school admissions counselor. She is passionate about mentorship, medical education, and helping future physicians achieve their dreams.

Before attending the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Baah graduated from the University of Richmond with a BS in psychology. She served as an admissions representative at the University of Richmond for four years before graduating and becoming Assistant Director of Admissions at Brown Mackie College. These experiences gave her direct insight into holistic admissions processes and applicant evaluation. She subsequently completed a post-baccalaureate program before enrolling in medical school, bringing a diverse professional background to her medical education.

During medical school, Dr. Baah completed a fifth-year dermatology research fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and was selected for the David Satcher Clerkship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, a competitive visiting clinical program affiliated with Case Western Reserve University. She has earned multiple honors across her training, including the Skin of Color Society Medical Student Scholarship, the OhioHealth Physicians Diversity Scholarship, and designation as a Rural and Urban Scholars Pathway Scholar. Dr. Baah is also a recipient of the Sherry R. Arnstein Underrepresented Minority Scholarship from AACOM.

Dr. Baah completed her family medicine residency at Holzer Health System, where she received the Going Extra Mile Award and mentored medical students in dermatology research, guiding them through manuscript publication and poster presentations. Dr. Baah has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters across dermatology and primary care. Her work appears in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology, SKIN The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine, and Dermatology Reviews, among other publications. She has also contributed to The 5-Minute Clinical Consult and the textbook Clinical Cases of Dermatology. Today, Dr. Baah serves as a Medical Director, leading clinical strategy for virtual care and laboratory medicine while continuing to apply her clinical expertise through physician consulting. She is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).

Since college, Dr. Baah has mentored students at every stage of their educational journey—from high school researchers and undergraduate pre-medical students to medical students and residents—and is passionate about helping aspiring physicians achieve their goals. As an admissions consultant, Dr. Baah believes every applicant has a compelling story worth telling. Her approach centers on identifying each student's unique strengths, helping them develop a genuine narrative, and strategically highlighting the experiences that distinguish them from other applicants. Whether working on personal statements, activity descriptions, secondary essays, interview prep, or overall application strategy, she provides individualized guidance rooted in honesty, encouragement, and practical experience.

Students appreciate Dr. Baah's approachable personality, thoughtful feedback, and ability to simplify the complex admissions process into manageable, achievable steps. She is committed to helping applicants build confidence while creating polished, authentic applications that truly reflect who they are, not simply what they think admissions committees want to see.
