Before attending Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Dr. Frimpong graduated from Rutgers University–New Brunswick with a BA in molecular biology and biochemistry, applying as an international applicant. At Cooper Medical School, Dr. Frimpong immersed herself in clinical research and community service in Camden, New Jersey. She contributed to projects spanning stroke disparities research, bioengineering design, and cosmetic formulation, while also dedicating years of volunteer work and outreach to the local community. At the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, she earned recognition as Chief Resident for her leadership, work ethic, and commitment to advancing high-quality surgical care.
Dr. Frimpong is a dedicated and service-driven coach who believes in meeting every student where they are. She is passionate about helping aspiring physicians build compelling applications that reflect their individual strengths, experiences, and commitment to medicine.
