During her time at UMass Amherst, Advika built a strong foundation in the sciences and education. She served as a Peer-Led Team Learning Leader for Organic Chemistry 1 for two years, guiding students through one of the most demanding pre-health courses, and also worked as a teaching assistant for Introductory Biology. As Pre-Dental Chair of her pre-health professional fraternity, Advika mentored fellow students, shared resources, and helped cultivate a supportive pre-dental community on campus. She earned Dean's List recognition across five semesters and was awarded the Chancellor's Award, a merit-based scholarship recognizing outstanding academic and personal achievement.
Advika's approach to DAT tutoring is rooted in her own recent experience with the exam. She takes a personalized, student-centered approach, working closely with each student to identify areas of need and build a clear, manageable study plan. Having navigated the pre-dental journey herself, she understands how overwhelming the process can feel and is committed to making it more structured and approachable. She is known for being patient, encouraging, and able to break down difficult concepts in a way that genuinely clicks.
As an Indian American who has lived and studied in India and the United States, Advika brings a unique perspective to her work and enjoys connecting with students from a variety of backgrounds. She is committed to sharing practical strategies that students can actually use to achieve the highest DAT score possible.
