Dr. Andoh grew up in Illinois, attending the Phillips Exeter Academy. At Yale University, she was awarded the International Study Award and was named Student Marshal. During her time at the Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Andoh was awarded the Bay Area Ophthalmology Course Diversity Scholarship (BAOC), paying full tuition for a summer ophthalmology course at the Stanford Department of Ophthalmology. She also won 1st place for her poster through the Rabb-Venable Excellence in Ophthalmology Research Program. She also earned the Miriam Kathleen Dasey Award and Peter A.T. Grannum Prize.

An aspiring vitreoretinal surgeon, Dr. Andoh has published research on topics including diabetic retinopathy, carceral healthcare, and geographic disparities in access to care. Her work has been featured in the Journal of Ophthalmology, Journal of Ophthalmic Epidemiology, Journal of Correctional Healthcare, and JAMA, and has garnered over 100 citations. Her research and advocacy have earned her recognition from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Women in Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Retina Specialists, as well as multiple poster awards.

At the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, Dr. Andoh has been recognized with the Nicholas T. Iliff, MD, and Sharon A. Kress Excellence in Patient Care Award and House Staff Teaching Award. She was also named an MD Advocacy Education Fund Fellow.

Dr. Andoh has worked as a medical content writer and as a program manager for aspiring medical students. She also serves as a peer reviewer for JAMA and Nature Communications. She is excited to work with students and help them achieve their academic pursuits. With a structured yet flexible approach to counseling, Dr. Andoh offers the compassionate, friendly support students need to get into medical schools and match with their dream residency programs. 

Dr. Tran is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California. While attending UCLA, he served as President of the UCLA Saving Hearts Foundation chapter. During Dr. Tran’s undergraduate and medical school career, he was heavily involved in research focused on cardiology, advanced heart failure, advanced care planning in advanced liver diseases, population health, and social determinants of health analyses. His work resulted in ten publications, including research papers and narrative medicine pieces. 

In medical school, Dr. Tran served as Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Medical Student Research Journal, and Program Director of the student-led health fair organization. He was also elected into Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Tran’s clinical focus and interests lie in preventative care, lifestyle and functional medicine, cardiovascular health, advanced care planning, mental health, and nutritional counseling. He has delivered 17 poster presentations including several at high-impact conferences such as the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, and the American Public Health Association.

As an admissions coach, Dr. Tran is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized advising for pre-medical students and is passionate about helping them navigate the often-challenging application process. He is committed to using his extensive involvement in research, volunteering, and leadership, as well as his personal experience in successfully completing the medical school and residency application processes, to help students succeed. 

Dr. Tran has served in multiple capacities as a mentor and advisor to both undergraduate and medical students in applying to medical school and residency programs. He is eager to use his knowledge and extensive experience in helping others to help aspiring students become physicians. 

As a UAB admissions committee member, Dr. Singh reviewed applications and conducted MMI interviews, developed application criteria, and rated candidates. He also advised in selection meetings and led orientation for accepted students. At Indiana University Health, Dr. Singh is a board member of the Program Education Committee, where he works with faculty and residents to develop educational curriculum for integrated and independent plastic surgery residency programs. He is also the Founder of the Indiana University Plastic Surgery Research Group.

Dr. Singh’s clinical and academic focus centers on hand, peripheral nerve, and complex reconstructive surgery. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and presented at more than 100 national and international conferences, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Plastic Surgery Research Council. His research spans plastic surgery, surgical education, health services, and the intersection of medicine and social media. His work has been featured in The Plasticsfella, UAB News, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was also honored with awards such as Best Presentation at the Indiana University Plastic Surgery Research Day and a Top 25 Poster Recognition at the ASPS Annual Meeting. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Singh is the founder and CEO of Sky Research LLC, a company dedicated to improving research productivity and collaboration. 

With 10 years of coaching experience, Dr. Singh has mentored hundreds of students at various stages, from pre-medical to medical training, providing guidance in research, academics, and professional development. As a medical student, he founded and led multidisciplinary research groups that connected students with faculty mentors and trained over 100 students in research design and execution, earning institutional recognition for his impact. 

Students who have worked with Dr. Singh have gained admission to some of the nation’s most prestigious medical schools, including Johns Hopkins, the Mayo Clinic, Duke, NYU, Baylor, and the University of Michigan, among many others. He has also guided numerous students into competitive medical specialties, including integrated plastic surgery.

Dr. Singh’s approach to mentorship is grounded in clarity, honesty, and strategy. He helps students build cohesive, standout narratives that reflect their personal motivations and academic vision, while navigating the admissions process with intention. His strengths lie in strategic storytelling, research integration, and identifying blind spots in an applicant’s profile. At HCA Healthcare, Dr. Hassan was the Chief Resident of his internal medicine training program. At UAB, he served as the medical student coordinator for the Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care, combining his love of teaching with a deep commitment to mentorship. Dr. Hassan has trained medical students, residents, and fellows—developing curricula that integrate narrative medicine, ethics, and communication skills into serious illness care. He is also the creator of a popular review series to help fellows prepare for hospice and palliative board exams. Dr. Hassan’s research has been published in the HCA Healthcare Journal of Medicine and the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management. 

Dr. Hassan’s strengths as an admissions coach lie in his ability to connect authentically with applicants, helping them identify their core values, personal narratives, and goals with clarity and confidence. As a coach, Dr. Hassan is deeply passionate about working with future clinicians and public health leaders, including those from non-traditional or underrepresented backgrounds. Dr. Gupta graduated with an MD from the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, where he was deeply involved in research, peer mentorship, and student wellness leadership. He received the Larner College of Medicine Research Scholarship and was awarded a Presidential Poster Award by the American Geriatrics Society for his research on chronic kidney disease and resilience, which he presented at two national conferences. At Larner, he also served as a STEP and peer mentor, supporting junior medical students through their academic and application journeys, and founded the Larner Footy Soccer Interest Group to build community through sport.

At Mass General, Dr. Gupta trains under Harvard faculty and actively contributes to medical education by teaching Harvard medical students and presenting case studies at Internal Medicine Department teaching conferences. His clinical interests include regional anesthesia, acute pain, and cardiac anesthesia.

With over eight years of mentorship experience, Dr. Gupta is committed to helping aspiring medical professionals succeed. His advising style is honest, strategic, and collaborative, focused on leveraging each student’s strengths, addressing weaknesses, and crafting a compelling narrative that reflects their unique story. He mentors in a collaborative, mentee-centered style, tailoring his guidance to each student’s unique needs.

Dr. Lingaya completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, graduating with university honors from the Honors Program with a dual degree in evolutionary anthropology and biology. As an undergraduate, he pursued research domestically and internationally, including fieldwork in rural Ghana and global health exploration in the Middle East as a Marsh Fellow. His diverse international experiences formed the cornerstone of his medical school application, earning him admission to 13+ institutions. 

At the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Lingaya was awarded the prestigious Hymen Oren Scholarship—a full-tuition merit-based award recognizing future leaders in medicine. He also served as a Graduate Success Partner for five years, acting as a mentor to undergraduate pre-med students at the University of Michigan and guiding them through the admissions process.

As a first-generation college student and immigrant from the Philippines, Dr. Lingaya’s commitment to admissions consulting is personal and mission-driven. The mentorship he received throughout his medical education journey played a pivotal role in his success. He is passionate about paying that support forward, particularly to students navigating similar barriers.

Before graduating magna cum laude at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Nadkarni served on the Performing Arts Council Executive Board, was the Music Director of Penn Counterparts A Cappella, and served as Chair of the After School Arts Program. Before medical school, Dr. Nadkarni was awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, which he used to earn an MA in dance anthropology at the University of Roehampton in London. His research explored gender, queerness, and storytelling within Indian classical dance.

At UCLA, Dr. Nadkarni served as a tutor for the Structural Racism and Health Equity curriculum, helping medical students deepen their understanding of social medicine and systems-based care. He also worked with the Dean’s Office as a student interviewer for prospective applicants, gaining direct insight into what makes a candidate stand out. Dr. Nadkarni also acted as a student liaison for the Hammer Museum and UCLA, working to plan events to increase art education and access for colleagues in healthcare. 

In his role with UCLA’s Global Health Program, Dr. Nadkarni evaluated and recruited students for international clinical rotations, further sharpening his skills in holistic applicant assessment across academic, leadership, and interpersonal domains. He was also awarded the Global Health Clinical Elective Scholarship and Fraser Scholarship. 

Dr. Nadkarni’s greatest strengths as a consultant lie in his ability to distill complex life experiences into cohesive, authentic application themes. He is highly skilled at personal branding, narrative development, and project management, helping students stay on track while crafting unforgettable essays, polished resumes, and confident interview responses. As a professional Kathak dancer and educator, Dr. Nadkarni has led international workshops on movement-based mental health, bringing somatic awareness, cultural literacy, and narrative design into his coaching approach. These interdisciplinary experiences make him particularly skilled at helping applicants articulate unique personal stories and translate diverse backgrounds into powerful assets in the admissions process.

Dr. Nadkarni is excited to support the next generation of physicians in crafting bold, meaningful applications that reflect who they truly are.

Dr. Nwankwo is a physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) resident at Baylor College of Medicine and plans to pursue a pain medicine fellowship. She completed the combined BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine, earning a degree in biology and chemistry, and graduating with departmental distinction in academic excellence from the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences. She served on admissions committees at both UMKC and her residency program at Baylor. 

Dr. Nwankwo received numerous undergraduate offers, including acceptances from Yale, Harvard, and Penn, but ultimately chose UMKC for its accelerated medical program. She went on to earn her MD from UMKC and has maintained a longstanding commitment to academic excellence and leadership throughout her education. She was a leader in multiple organizations in medical school at the local, regional, and national levels. 

Throughout her training, Dr. Nwankwo has been an active clinical researcher and presenter. She has delivered posters and podium presentations at the Texas Pain Society Annual Meeting and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) conference, exploring topics such as combination closed-loop and dorsal root ganglion stimulation for cancer-related pain, scrambler therapy for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, and temporary peripheral nerve stimulation for greater occipital neuralgia. She also serves as co-investigator on a multicenter trial evaluating novel neuromodulation devices in oncology rehabilitation.

Dr. Nwankwo brings firsthand experience from serving in decision-making roles on admissions committees at UKMC and Baylor. Dr. Nwankwo specializes in an individualized coaching style, helping students identify their unique stories, build strategic timelines, and develop compelling application materials for medical school. As a physician, educator, and mentor, Dr. Nwankwo is deeply passionate about equity in medicine and empowering the next generation of healthcare leaders through thoughtful, strategic guidance.

Dr. Rodriguez’s educational journey began at the University of Central Florida. Initially intent on graduating with a business degree and entering the business world with his father, life had other plans for him. He was thrust into the medical world as a patient. Finding himself spending more time in the hospital than in the classroom, he began to fall in love with the field of medicine and knew that this was the path for him. 

Dr. Rodriguez went on to the University of South Florida to earn his Master’s degree in anatomy, graduating as the Valedictorian of his class. Afterwards, he chose to attend Albany Medical College. While attending medical school, he was involved with admissions, interviewing applicants, as well as hosting forums for aspiring medical students. His experience provided him with insider knowledge of the key ingredients necessary to successfully navigate medical school interviews. . He continues to be involved in admissions in his residency program by working with medical students on shift and interviewing candidates for the matching process.

Dr. Rodriguez’s passion for counseling and mentoring stems from his own medical admissions journey. As a first-generation physician, he had no prior experience or close mentors who could guide him through the process and provide key and helpful advice—he had to learn the ins and outs of the application process alone. Now, as a practicing physician, he has a passion and strong desire to give back and help others in navigating the incredibly complex medical applications process. He enjoys serving as the mentor he wished he had during his own journey. He also finds a profound sense of fulfillment in helping others in their own journeys.

What sets Dr. Rodriguez’s approach apart as a consultant is his personalized approach. He holds a deep belief that individuality is key to getting into medical school and becoming a successful physician. He works with a small handful of students at a time, devoting personalized attention, dedicating time to truly get to know them as individuals, and discovering what makes them unique. He then goes on to help students craft tailored plans, build strong narratives, and hone their interview skills. 

Each session with Dr. Rodriguez is focused on clear goals while remaining adaptable to changing circumstances. Dr. Rodriguez has a passion for emergency medicine, a field which he views not only as the front lines of medicine but also a diverse field where one must constantly be vigilant for their patients. He finds a profound satisfaction in being able to care for individuals from all walks of life and with all manner of medical problems, be it a simple influenza infection or the reversal of cardiac arrest. 

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Gabriel graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry from Sewanee: The University of the South, where he was elected as the President of the school’s Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Med Honor Society and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. Additionally, he conducted research in molecular biology and behavioral neuroscience through Yale University’s Semester Program and was awarded the Beecken Scholarship and Stanford Merit Scholarship while completing a certificate in Business Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Dr. Gabriel went on to earn his MD from Harvard Medical School, achieving Honors with Distinction.  His academic excellence was recognized through scholarships, including the Taco Bell Scholarship and the REACH Scholarship. At Harvard, he became a nationally recognized researcher in orthopedic surgery, presenting at major conferences for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.  Dr. Gabriel has built a portfolio of over 40 academic presentations and publications focusing on spine deformity, robotics, and value-based care delivery. He also served as a research fellow at Boston's Children’s Hospital. 

As a first-generation college and medical student, Dr. Gabriel is deeply committed to mentoring applicants from all backgrounds, including international, first-generation, and underrepresented students. He has guided dozens of mentees to med school success through his work with F-1 Doctors, the MV3 Foundation, and community mentorship initiatives that he helped design. His coaching style blends strategic application planning with a focus on helping students uncover the deeper narrative that sets them apart. He believes that a strong application doesn’t just inform, it inspires.

Dr. Gabriel’s strength lies in his ability to distill complex experiences into powerful personal statements and interviews, while keeping students grounded, confident, and authentically themselves. He brings the same dedication to coaching that he brings to patient care: intentional listening, honest feedback, and a roadmap tailored to each student’s goals.

Dr. Saltzberg holds a BA in psychology, graduating cum laude from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and earned his MD from the Chicago Medical School. Dr. Saltzberg completed his pediatrics residency at Northwestern University’s Children’s Memorial Hospital and later pursued advanced training in emergency medicine at the University of Nevada, marking his transition into the field at the very birth of emergency medicine.

Dr. Saltzberg has served as an associate professor at a highly ranked medical school and has been a dedicated medical educator for decades. He has held significant leadership roles, including Chief of Staff at his hospital for 22 years. He is a Fellow and Founding Member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, where he actively contributes to the Physician Wellness and Government Affairs Committees. His commitment to service extends beyond the hospital, as he has volunteered as a medical advisor to Lamb’s Farm since 1987, improving the quality of life for 160 adults with cognitive disabilities.

Currently, Dr. Saltzberg is an Associate Professor at the Chicago Medical School’s Department of Emergency Medicine. A published author, he recently co-authored “An Ethical Analysis of the Arguments For and Against Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates” in the Journal of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Saltzberg’s mentorship has helped students gain acceptance to top institutions, including the Chicago Medical School, Boston College, Northwestern University School of Medicine, Rush University Medical School, and Loyola University School of Medicine, among others. He is known for his holistic, student-centered approach to coaching, supporting a diverse range of applicants.

Dr. Obanor began his higher education journey at Duke University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry with a focus on biochemistry. During college, he was recognized on the Dean’s List at Trinity College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Obanor went on to receive his MD from Meharry Medical College, earning the Chauncey O. Daugherty, M.D. Award and the Timothy Simon/Timothy Sherwood Shaw NBC Inc. Scholarship. 

Currently, Dr. Obanor is a staff psychiatrist at the Department of Veterans Affairs, with clinical academic affiliations at the University of California, Riverside, the University of California,  Irvine, and Charles R. Drew University. His professional interests span behavioral economics, social philosophy, trauma, cultural competency, substance use, social determinants of health, and outreach to at-risk communities. Dr. Obanor’s commitment to equitable mental health care is rooted in his training experiences with underserved and marginalized populations. He has authored research on topics such as narcissism in medical training, with his work featured in Fortune Journals.

As a coach, Dr. Obanor leverages his personal journey as an underrepresented minority in medicine to guide students through the complexities of the admissions process. He excels at crafting individualized admissions strategies that highlight each applicant’s passions and experiences, using a flexible and holistic approach. With years of coaching experience, he has helped students gain acceptance to institutions such as Meharry Medical College, Wake Forest University, Duke University, UNC, Ohio State University, and others. 

Dr. Obanor is adept at working with students from a multitude of backgrounds. He takes pride in identifying key strengths and weaknesses to create a personalized plan that governs the overall approach to the application process. Dr. Obanor is eager to partner with students from all walks of life to enlighten their personal journey in medicine and subsequently achieve their career goals.

Her academic journey began at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned three BA degrees in Plan II Honors, psychology, and music. She then pursued her medical education at the University of Texas Medical Branch John Sealy School of Medicine, obtaining an MD and MPH with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Dr. Liu-Zarzuela has garnered numerous accolades, including the Association of Women Psychiatrists Leah J. Dickstein Award, the Texas Medical Association Lone Star Caucus Scholarship, and the prestigious Albert Schweitzer Fellowship. Her research contributions have been published in esteemed journals such as JAACAP Connect and the Journal of Affective Disorders Reports, focusing on adolescent mental health, social media's impact on mental well-being, and the efficacy of psychiatric interventions in primary care settings.

Dr. Liu-Zarzuela's commitment to advancing healthcare extends beyond her clinical work. She has played a pivotal role in shaping policy through her involvement as an ardent advocate with the Texas Medical Association and American Medical Association, having played a key role in the acceptance of numerous resolutions. 

Dr. Liu-Zarzuela's approach to mentorship is characterized by her attention to detail, responsiveness, and ability to tailor her guidance to each student's needs. Students she has coached have been accepted to multiple medical schools, including Johns Hopkins, Columbia, Cornell, the University of Texas Medical Branch, Baylor, UT Southwestern, and others. Dr. Liu-Zarzuela has also supported numerous students who have matched with psychiatry residencies at Harvard McLean, Yale, Columbia, Baylor, UT Southwestern, UChicago, and several other programs. 

Her diverse background and non-traditional experiences make her particularly adept at supporting students from all walks of life, including those from underrepresented communities, non-traditional applicants, and students facing various challenges. Dr. Liu-Zarzuela excels in guiding students through the complex application process, helping them craft compelling personal statements and prepare for rigorous interviews. Dr. Liu-Zarzuela remains committed to her dual passions of psychiatric care and medical education. Her dedication to fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals, her clinical expertise, and her research acumen position her as a rising leader in psychiatry and medical mentorship.

Dr. Oh pursued his MD at the University of Washington School of Medicine on a half-tuition scholarship, where his academic excellence earned him selection to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society—an honor bestowed upon only eleven students in his cohort. As a recipient of a half-tuition scholarship at UW and previously a full-ride scholarship at Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Oh has consistently demonstrated exceptional academic achievement.

During his own medical school application journey, Dr. Oh received over 20 interview invitations and more than $220,000 in scholarship offers, including a 75% tuition scholarship from the prestigious Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. His success in navigating the admissions process led to multiple acceptances, including UChicago, Brown, Dartmouth, and Georgetown.

As Dr. Oh navigated the medical school application process, he took note of the specific applicant attributes factors medical schools looked for in building their class, and was inspired to coach other medical school applicants after his own success. He draws on his past experience as a college admissions consultant, where he helped over students gain acceptance into BS/MD programs and highly competitive universities across the country.

Dr. Oh's mentorship philosophy centers on two core principles: consistent availability and proven methodology. He understands that the medical school application process is inherently stressful, making reliable guidance and timely support essential for success. Dr. Oh brings practical insights into what medical schools truly seek in their candidates.

Dr. Oh offers comprehensive support for MD applications, DO applications, and BS/MD programs. Having previously offered  application support at the University of Washington School of Medicine, he combines institutional knowledge with practical application strategies to help students navigate every aspect of the medical school admissions process.

Dr. Brown has a strong background in medicine, research, and mentorship. He began his higher education journey at the University of Virginia, where he earned a BA in Spanish language and literature. He earned his MD from EVMS, where he also completed his internal medicine internship and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Brown holds an MBA from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary and a Master of Biomedical Sciences from EVMS, demonstrating his commitment to both healthcare and leadership.

Dr. Bradley earned her BA from Knox College before attending Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where she obtained her MD and a global health certificate. She went on to complete her family medicine residency at Northwestern McGaw in Grayslake, Illinois. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Bradley now resides in Las Vegas, NV. She currently works as a Principal Investigator at Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services.

She has worked as a primary care physician and in clinical pharmaceutical research, conducting Phase I clinical trials. Dr. Cousins earned his Bachelor’s in animal science and a Master’s in medical sciences from the University of Florida before obtaining his MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. With extensive experience on the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine’s admissions committee, Dr. Cousins played a pivotal role in selecting applicants for admission and conducting interviews, helping to shape the next generation of physicians. As a Schweitzer Fellow, she developed a culturally-tailored community health education program for South Asian immigrants, addressing chronic disease prevention and health literacy. Her research focuses on cardiovascular disease disparities and innovative strategies to improve access to care, particularly in cardiac rehabilitation. 

Dr. Pedamallu has also presented her work at leading conferences such as the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions, gaining national recognition for her contributions to care delivery research. She is passionate about health policy, clinical innovation, and care delivery research and is dedicated to using her experiences with patients to drive structural change in healthcare. 

With over six years of experience in admissions consulting, Dr. Pedamallu is deeply committed to mentoring future physicians. As a first-generation medical student, she understands the challenges and complexities of the application process and aims to provide personalized mentorship to help students navigate their journeys. Dr. Dalmia's journey in medicine began early—he was accepted into an accelerated 8-year Honors BS/MD program in engineering & medicine at the Illinois Institute of Technology and Chicago Medical School, where he graduated with the highest academic distinction. During college, he was awarded a full-tuition Leadership Academy Scholarship for exhibiting outstanding leadership potential, trained in an intensive leadership development program, and graduated with a Certificate in Leadership Studies. He applied outside the program and attended the University of Michigan Medical School, where he was awarded the Dr. Edward G. Larsen Scholarship and the John Alexander Memorial Scholarship. This rigorous training instilled in him a deep curiosity about the intersection of science, technology, and patient care, a passion that continues to drive his work today.

After a transitional year where he was selected as Chief Resident, Dr. Dalmia completed his anesthesia residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, where he not only gained extensive experience in critical care, pain management, and pediatric anesthesia but also distinguished himself as an educator, teaching anesthesia students in Ethiopia as part of a global health initiative. He was one of only 12 anesthesia residents nationwide to be awarded the SEA-HVO Fellowship, and first ever at BIDMC, to provide both OR and classroom teaching to Masters in Nurse Anesthesia students in Ethiopia for a month. He applied and was selected for one of 12 positions for the inaugural national ASA Policy Research Rotation in Political Affairs, with a focus on legislative and regulatory activities that affect the field of anesthesia. 

Following residency, Dr. Dalmia pursued a highly competitive pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he further refined his expertise in caring for neonates, infants, and children undergoing complex surgical procedures. This included spending time in India as an Operation Smile Regan Leadership Fellow, performing and teaching pediatric anesthesia to anesthesiologists in Guwahati, India, at the Comprehensive Cleft Care Center (CCC).

As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesia at NYU Langone Medical Center, Dr. Dalmia played a pivotal role in training the next generation of anesthesiologists, mentoring over 200 residents and fellows while delivering high-quality care to thousands of pediatric and adult patients. His adaptability was exemplified during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when he transitioned into a critical care intensivist role, leading teams in NYC’s overwhelmed ICUs to manage the city’s sickest patients.

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Dalmia has built a unique career at the intersection of medicine, education, and business strategy. He served as the Business Development Lead for US Clinicians at AMBOSS, where he was instrumental in expanding digital medical education resources to thousands of clinicians nationwide and played a key role in the $9,000,000 acquisition of the NEJM Knowledge+ QBank. Dr. Garvey graduated from the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa, ultimately earning a BA with Distinction. She then attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California,  where she received the prestigious Viola Hyde Research Stipend. 

Following medical school, Dr. Garvey completed both a general surgery residency and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) before relocating to Atlanta. During her 23 years of clinical experience, Dr. Garvey owned and operated a successful private practice for 13 years before she joined a multi-specialty group, and later, a private equity–owned vascular clinic. 

Dr. Garvey has spent over two decades mentoring and coaching students, drawing on her firsthand experience from serving on admissions committees at UCLA and UPMC. Throughout her career, Dr. Garvey has distinguished herself not only through her surgical expertise but also through her dedication to research, as demonstrated by her multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as the Journal of Endovascular Therapy, Surgery, and the American Journal of Surgery.

Before attending the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Oyewole graduated with a BS in biochemistry & molecular biology with a minor in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. There, he competed in NCAA Division I Football with the Minutemen. 

During his medical training, Dr. Oyewole was an integral part of the medical school admissions committee at Mount Sinai, where he reviewed and evaluated hundreds of applications, helping to refine admissions criteria and identify top candidates. Dr. Clark completed her undergraduate degree in neuroscience & behavior at Barnard College of Columbia University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude. From there, she pursued her medical degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and served as Class President. 

During this time, Dr. Clark also worked as a Global Cause Partnerships and Community Fundraising Coordinator for UNICEF USA, furthering her passion for serving diverse populations. She completed her preliminary intern year at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) before starting her PM&R residency at Stanford. She now holds leadership roles in multiple national organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R),  the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP), the World Academy of Pain Medicine United (WAPMU), the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS), and the Society of Women Innovators in Pain Management (WIPM).

A dedicated researcher and educator, Dr. Clark has authored peer-reviewed articles on pain management, AI in medicine, and musculoskeletal ultrasound, with publications in journals such as Current Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Reports, Journal of Medical Artificial Intelligence, and Cureus Journal of Medical Science. As a resident physician, she has a passion for interventional pain management, performing arts medicine, and musculoskeletal and sports medicine.

Dr. Clark  also devotes significant time to medical education, serving as the medical student liaison at Stanford’s PM&R Program and participating in various committees that focus on admissions and recruitment. Her nearly decade-long mentorship experience includes guiding students from diverse backgrounds toward acceptance at medical schools and residency programs at Loyola, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, the Mayo Clinic, and Mount Sinai.

Dr. Akomeah’s passion for patient care was ignited in her childhood when she would play “doctor” at her mother’s small pharmacy in Ghana. After moving to the United States, Dr. Akomeah became a certified nursing assistant before attaining a BS in biology with a minor in philosophy from George Washington University (GWU), graduating cum laude. She further honed her research and clinical coordination skills during a post-baccalaureate experience at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on obesity research. 

Returning to GWU for medical school, Dr. Akomeah served as President of the Society of Health and Nutrition and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also pursued global health by volunteering in a clinic in Antigua, Guatemala—an experience that shaped her commitment to caring for diverse patient populations across all age groups.

Drawn to emergency medicine, Dr. Akomeah completed her residency at Carolinas Medical Center (now Atrium Health), where she developed a strong interest in student mentorship. In addition to hosting residency applicants and conducting mock interviews, she credits her own phenomenal mentor for inspiring her to help others succeed. She also led efforts to develop tools to attract a diverse and talented pool of residents for her department and to ensure that a culture of inclusion and awareness was fostered. Following her residency, Dr. Akomeah started a medical education fellowship at the University of Maryland and pursued a Master of Education in health professions at Johns Hopkins University.

Currently, Dr. Akomeah serves as an adjunct professor and Educational Director in her emergency department at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center, precepting medical students from Caribbean schools and residents in family medicine, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. She is also known for integrating lifestyle medicine into her practice, often coaching patients on how dietary and behavioral changes can help manage or reverse chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. 

Beyond her clinical duties, Dr. Akomeah has published on topics ranging from emergency medicine training in Africa to obesity research, reflecting her commitment to global health and evidence-based practice. 

Dr. Akomeah has continued to mentor residents, undergraduate students, and medical students, as she enjoys assisting students navigate the path to medical school and residency. Dr. Mwangi's academic career began with a full-ride scholarship to Texas A&M Commerce, where he laid the foundation for his medical education. He then earned his MD from Texas Tech Health Science Center School of Medicine, entering as a non-traditional applicant through the Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP). Following medical school, he completed his family physician residency at HCA-Houston Healthcare West.

Dr. Mwangi spent three years as a JAMP coordinator, where he provided complementary curriculum support, provided advice to prospective students on the medical school admissions process, and orchestrated ice-breaking activities and team-building exercises to foster morale and social integration.

Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Mwangi has been committed to supporting his peers and future medical professionals. He served as a peer tutor for multiple courses, including organic chemistry and statistics, demonstrating his ability to break down complex concepts for others. Dr. Athreya earned his BA in kinesiology and exercise science from Rice University before pursuing both an MPH  and MD at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He has completed multiple prestigious fellowships, including the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, Population Health Postdoctoral Fellowship through the University of Texas System, and the Preventive Medicine Fellowship at Emory University. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident.

With a passion for guiding aspiring healthcare professionals, Dr. Athreya successfully mentored numerous students and professionals on how to navigate the rigorous journey to medical school and secure placements in highly competitive residency programs. Dr. Hasselmo graduated magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard College, where she studied organismic and evolutionary biology. She discovered her passion for psychiatry and working with young patients while conducting her neuroimaging thesis on social cognition, which won the Hoopes Prize for outstanding scholarly work. Outside the lab, she was an editor for Harvard’s literary and humor magazines. 

After graduation, she completed a clinical neuroscience fellowship at Yale’s Child Study Center, working in the Developmental Disabilities Clinic and contributing to research on social functioning and biomarkers of autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. After being offered multiple merit-based scholarships, she chose to pursue her MD at Yale School of Medicine.

Throughout medical school, Dr. Hasselmo won the Marguerite Rush-Lerner and PHM Health Professions Creative Medical Writing and Art Contest awards annually for her comics and graphic short stories. She was also honored with the Howard Spiro Society Creative Writing Award in 2022. Many of Dr. Hasselmo’s accomplishments relate to her passion for storytelling. She created a coloring book, called a Hero’s Journey, through collaboration with Yale's inpatient pediatric psychiatry service, to help children and young adolescents demystify and offer guidance through inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Her historical medical research, which also focused on storytelling, earned her the Elias E. Manuelidis Memorial Fund Grant and the William B. Bean Student Research Award.

At Yale, Dr. Hasslemo collaborated with the inpatient pediatric psychiatry and served as a clinical team member at Yale’s HAVEN Free Clinic, providing care to uninsured patients in New Haven. Recognizing the anxiety and stress that often accompany the admissions process, she began using her storytelling and communication skills to help pre-med students craft compelling personal statements and present themselves confidently in interviews.

From there, Dr. Blutinger completed his MD at George Washington University, followed by an emergency medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then earned a Master’s in health policy, planning, and financing from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics. His global perspective is further informed by clinical work in South Africa and Guatemala, reflecting his deep commitment to international medicine. 

A passionate advocate for patient-centered care both in and outside the hospital, Dr. Blutinger has led critical initiatives—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City—to deliver high-quality emergency services and develop innovative programs for paramedics, administrators, and fellow physicians.

Throughout his career, Dr. Blutinger has amassed significant experience in leadership, public speaking, broadcast and print journalism, and healthcare consultancy. He has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications in multiple journals, including the Annals of Emergency Medicine, The American Journal of Emergency Medicine, and the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society. He has also been featured in multiple articles in The Philadelphia Inquirer. Dr. Blutinger has also served on multiple clinical advisory boards for tech startups aiming to expand home-based healthcare delivery.

Dr. Nwaukoni is an accomplished physician dedicated to health equity, medical education, and community advocacy. She completed her residency at Northwestern McGaw Family Medicine Residency in Lake Forest, Illinois, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident, guiding departmental operations, mentoring peers, and championing initiatives to improve maternal health outcomes and address healthcare disparities.

Dr. Nwaukoni earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), where her leadership and academic excellence were recognized with the Presidential Leadership in Diversity Award and induction into the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society. Before medical school, Dr. Nwaukoni earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and society with a minor in global health from Cornell University, graduating cum laude. 

Dr Nwaukoni’s dedication to advancing medical knowledge is evident in her extensive research contributions, which span Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, health disparities, and international work. Among her notable achievements is her work on an APO1 project, where she and her team helped secure over $200,000 to pilot a research study in Ghana, focused on risk variants of a SLE protein prevalent in women of African ancestry. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international conferences, showcasing her passion for bridging the gap between clinical research and patient care.

As a former Resident Member of the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and Task Force Member for Family Medicine Midwest, Dr. Nwaukoni actively advocates for diversity, inclusion, and innovation in healthcare education. She has led numerous initiatives, including mentorship programs for underrepresented students, curriculum development for health equity, and global health collaborations in Ghana and Tanzania.

Her leadership has been recognized with numerous honors, including the AAFP Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education, the IAFP President’s Award, and the John E. Franklin, MD, Commitment to Diversity Award. A tireless advocate for underserved populations, Dr. Nwaukoni integrates evidence-based practices with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Dr. Nwaukoni’s commitment to medical education is deeply personal, reflecting her own journey and the challenges she witnessed among her peers. She is passionate about guiding applicants to find their voices and craft narratives that genuinely reflect their values, resilience, and readiness for medical school. With her background in leadership, research, and community engagement, Dr. Nwaukoni brings a well-rounded perspective that resonates with applicants from diverse backgrounds. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Nwaukoni is an avid traveler, photographer, and fitness enthusiast, enjoying Zumba and cardio-kickboxing. Her cross-cultural experiences—spanning over 20 countries—continue to shape her vision of global health and community empowerment.

Dr. Yoo earned a BS in communication studies and disorders from Northwestern University before graduating with an MD from the Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at McGaw Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Yoo currently practices at Aurora Eye Clinic Ltd.

In addition to residency selection committee experience, Dr. Yoo spent many years on the Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine admissions committee for medical applicants. With more than 17 years of experience mentoring students at the college, medical school, and residency levels, Dr. Yoo has gained insight into the full spectrum of medical education admissions. 

Dr. Yoo takes a personalized approach to counseling, aspiring physicians have the tools necessary to reach their goals. He believes in getting to know each candidate as an individual to work toward the best possible outcomes for their medical school or residency applications.
