During her undergraduate years, Elle's leadership skills shone through her involvement in various organizations. Her commitment to community service was recognized with the President's Volunteer Service Award for her home healthcare work in Durham, NC. Before starting her medical education, Elle dedicated time to serving her community as a college adviser at a rural NC high school.
