Dr. Voce's academic journey began at UCLA, where he graduated as a Regent's Scholar with a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience. He then attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine on a full-ride, merit-based scholarship. During his time at the University of Chicago, he was awarded a two-year Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) research grant. At Vanderbilt University, he received a two-year NIH/F32 NRSA research grant to study the molecular biology of GBM, one of the most dangerous forms of brain cancer.
Since graduating, Dr. Voce has mentored more than 60 students throughout their medical school admissions process.
