Meet the Panelists:

Neil Jairath
University of Michigan

Neil is a dermatology resident at New York University Langone Medical Center and served as an interviewer and admissions representative for three years while in medical school at UMichigan. Neil is passionate about sharing what he’s learned during his time as an interviewer and sharing this insider knowledge with MD hopefuls.

Callie Ginapp
Yale School of Medicine

Having grown up in the rural Midwest, followed by attending the University of Iowa as an undergrad, Callie is now a student at Yale School of Medicine and will be pursuing a career in psychiatry. She has five years of tutoring experience and has been involved with curriculum reform and health justice advocacy. Her research interests include qualitative research on the lived experience of having mental illnesses and health disparities research. Along with Inspira, Callie is involved in Yale's first-generation low-income student group and the LGBTQ affinity group. She is passionate about helping prospective students with diverse backgrounds discuss these parts of their identities in their applications.
