Nicholas graduated from the Yale School of Medicine’s PA program, earning a Master of medical science in physician associate studies. His commitment to the PA profession was recognized with the Connecticut PA Foundation Scholarship. Nicholas currently works in the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Brooklyn’s Cardiothoracic Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CTICU).

Born and raised in Rockland County, NY, Nicholas began his medical journey as an undergraduate at Northeastern University, where he graduated with a BS in biology with a minor in behavioral neuroscience. His diverse experiences during this time laid the foundation for his future success, including conducting neuroscience research at Harvard Medical School, working in clinical research in circadian rhythm studies at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and participating in service learning at a medically underserved rehabilitation facility during his study abroad in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Nicholas successfully guided dozens of Northeastern University students as a biology ambassador, helping them navigate their paths toward pre-physician assistant and pre-medical studies. This experience not only honed his mentorship skills but deepened his understanding of the challenges and aspirations of those seeking careers in healthcare.

After graduation, Nicholas worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at White Plains Hospital in the medical-surgical unit, further solidifying his practical knowledge and commitment to patient care. His dedication and academic excellence paved the way for his acceptance into Yale University's Physician Associate Program, where he spent several years serving the New Haven Community and gaining experience and knowledge in various clinical settings. During this time, he volunteered for the Neighborhood Health Project, where he provided health screenings, blood pressure checks, and glucose checks for underprivileged individuals in the New Haven community.

Nicholas also contributed to cardiovascular medicine research through his affiliation with the Aortic Institute at Yale New Haven Hospital, where he received the Outstanding Honors Thesis for "Lipid Profiles in Patients with Descending Aortic Aneurysms," in addition to two research articles. His thesis research at Yale was particularly significant, as it revealed a counterintuitive finding that elevated serum LDL and total cholesterol decrease the odds of descending aortic aneurysms, providing new insights into the relationship between these aneurysms and atherosclerosis.

As an admissions consultant, Nicholas excels in breaking down the application process into manageable steps and maintaining organization, ensuring students stay focused and on track throughout their journey. His firsthand experience navigating the rigorous admissions process and his deep understanding of what it takes to become a successful physician assistant make him an excellent resource for aspiring healthcare professionals.

Nicholas's passion and dedication to helping individuals become competitive candidates and successful future PAs are evident in his approach. He is committed to guiding applicants through every step of the process, from crafting compelling personal statements to preparing for interviews and ultimately helping them secure their place in their dream PA programs.
