Dr. Lee's academic journey began at Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biomechanical engineering. He graduated with an impressive 3.94 GPA and was Vice President of the Alpha Eta Mu Beta National Honor Society. At UCCOM, he founded and was President of the Interventional Radiology Interest Group, and managed the student-run free clinic. Currently, Dr. Lee is exploring the use of 3D-printed inferior vena cava filters to surgically guide their removals as he completes his residency.
Dr. Lee's educational background is rooted in science and math, with a mentoring career that began over 11 years ago. He has since held various teaching roles, including teaching assistant positions at Caltech and UW, as well as a research co-mentor in a lab setting.
Having navigated the college and medical school application process without the benefit of counseling services, Dr. Lee understands the challenges that many students face. He hopes to make these services more accessible to those who may not have been aware of their existence or believed them to be out of reach.

He has served as a teaching assistant, teacher, and application specialist, guiding students to successful medical school acceptances.
