Dr. Elsie W.

Dr. Weiler holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and earned her MD from the University of Minnesota, where she completed her internship year at Hennepin County Medical Center and began specialty training in anesthesiology. 

Upon graduating from medical school, Dr. Weiler was honored as one of two recipients of the AEI Foundation Award, presented to senior women medical students who best exemplify excellence in clinical performance, community service, scholarship, and leadership. At the outset of her medical career, Dr. Weiler chose to step away from residency to focus on raising her four children and supporting their academic and personal development, each of whom went on to attend highly selective universities such as Stanford and Harvard.

Throughout her years of parenting, Dr. Weiler remained professionally engaged through healthcare consulting, staying current with the rapidly evolving landscape of care delivery, digital health, and medical education. With a foundation in Silicon Valley’s software industry prior to pursuing medicine and a strong aptitude for technology, she brings fluency in digital tools, platforms, and systems to her work. Her contributions have included significant involvement in operational excellence initiatives aimed at expanding care access and scaling virtual care solutions. Clinically, she maintains a keen interest in functional and regenerative medicine, grounded in a strong belief in whole-person care and integrative approaches to healing.

Having advised many aspiring medical students, Dr. Weiler offers valuable insight into what admissions committees truly prioritize beyond metrics. She finds joy in discovering what makes each student unique and helping them express that individuality throughout their application. 

Dr. Weiler’s approach to coaching is highly reflective—she’s known for asking thoughtful, deep questions that guide applicants to uncover and articulate their most impactful stories. Interview preparation is a particular passion, and she draws on her admissions and interviewer experience to help students present themselves with clarity and confidence. Her guidance emphasizes authenticity, strategic storytelling, and the personal qualities that define tomorrow’s physicians. With a well-rounded understanding of both traditional and non-traditional paths to medicine, Dr. Weiler is passionate about helping others realize their dreams.
